Siwon seems so protective of her. But seeing him do that doesn't seem like a natural reflex. Like when the fireworks come up, a normal person should back up or be surprised. So it's either he's really protective of her. Or his minds probably going 'need to protect chae yeon's face from fireworks.' I dunno, just my opinion.

I hate when photographers/pauperazzi's take bad pictures of celebrities and their performances.... Everyone knows that Chae Yeon carries the sexy concept, and her dances are sexy. BUt if you watch the actual performances, the backround dancers aren't actually touching her, like it seems in the pics. The pictures are just angled in a point of that makes it seems like they are. Its just trying to ruin chae yeon's image.

I guess since they've been with her during her hard times, and until she got her big break, so its no surprise they're close! They been together through thick and thin. BUt I have to admit thought that they aren't the best back dancers... they're dancing skills aren't that great. But Chae Yeon still sticks with them! That shows how loyal Chae Yeon unnie is to those who are close to her!!! That makes me like her even more.

I heard that in Chae Yeon's entertainment company (out of all their artists) Chae Yeon and Jang Yoon Jung brings in the most money. But they didn't spend too much money on Chae Yeon's third album, because they wanted her concentrate more on variety shows, and stuff because she is getting old. However, most of the company's newer artists didn't do well, so now they decided to concentrate, spend more time and money on Chae Yeon's upcoming album this time! They are hiring dance trainers, vocal trainers, new songwriters, etc. to prepare her for her upcoming 4th album!!!!


I think they should have concentrated on 3rd album from the beginning!

Oh well.... this makes me expect a great album for Chae Yeon!!!! Looks like her ent. company is going to invest more on her this time. Chae Yeon's next album is planning to have more hype, so Chae Yeon is also probably going to have more weight on her shoulders about this album. They even made her quit x-man so she can concentrate soley on her training, and her next album

So now I'm excited and really looking forward to Chae Yeon with a good album coming up!

^ That's true... most singers quit coming out of variety shows when making a new album, as guests. But CY was regular in x-man... KJK, who used to be a regular in x-man quit because he had to go to the army, not for the making of his new album...

But I guess the reason why Chae Yeon quitting x-man was unexpected, was because originally CY's entertainment company wanted her to focus more on variety shows, since they originally thought it was time to end her image as a 'dance singer', they were hoping she could start getting more into mc-ing and acting. I guess the company changed their mind about that....
Anyways, I agree with you that its a good idea Chae Yeon's album is coming out next year. Chae Yeon's 3rd album did well enough in the charts to be invited to the 'end of the year awards' so she won't go unnoticed till the end of this year anyways. Besides, I'd rather see a good quality album and have to wait longer, than see an average album coming soon.


Oh yeah.... and today's x-man was SOOOO boring! It probably had to do with the fact that they're weren't any good guests, but I think more than that, x-man also felt missing because CY wasn't in it.

Yay, they're finally concentration on her this time. Now I'm really excited for her 4th album. Wow, Chae Yeon is even doing better than I thought. (Money wise, that is) I guess all those xman appearences really won people over for her.
Just wondering, where does Chae Yeon stand in Korea? Like, is she an A list or B list celeb? Is there an artist that's comparable to her over her?

EDIT: I forgot, Xman is out today. I totally forgot. Sigh, I remember the days where I would count down to Sunday and downloading it early in the morning when the clubbox links are out. And then comming home in the afternoon to watch it. And then catching Coolsmurf's translation Monday morning. I guess she is overall a B-list celebrity, if you compare her to top hallyu stars like Hyori and Jun Ji Hyun....

But in Korea she is an A-list star, especially out of all sexy queens, like Jeon Hye Bin, Ivy and U;nee.
She sold more albums than these 3 artists. Also Hyori said in an interview before her 2nd album... the singers she finds as the biggest competitors/threat are Boa and Chae Yeon.

I remember that epi. it is where in CY and Minwoo were playing in one game, and they were ask if what you like or attracts you to your opponent, Minwoo said he's attracted to Chae Yeon's eyes when she smiles. And I like it when Chae Yeon winked at him and Minwoo oppa was like blushing and was really shy. Haha... And Chae yeon actually won in that game because Minwoo was not attacking CY that much. Haha, they were so cute. I thought it was sweet of him. And I agree to what he said because actually CY's smile(and thought that she was very pretty) caught my attention when I just start watching X-man and that time, the only person I like & know were KJG and Lee Jin.

So happy to know that, coz I don't know how popular she is since I'm from Philippines and I really like Chae Yeon. I just got into Kpop recently and it's because of her. I like her songs most especially "The Two of Us' and "White Snow" but unfortunately I don't have any chance to buy any of her albums, I just downloaded some of her songs.

I wasn't and didn't know who Chae Yeon was until I watched X-Man, yes I been living under a rock x.x But she just so sweet and real in X-Man that why I started to like her. And I can't wait until her next album.

Well, since we're sharing experiences on how we became a Chae Yeon fan... I started out as a big DBSK fan. I watched all the Xman episodes that had them. I then saw Yoon Eun Hye on the show. Since I was watching Goong, I started watching many of the xman with her in it. Then I went on to Hye Bin for a short while. But somehow I stopped liking her.

I started noticing Chae Yeon and searched up her Two of Us video (and was in shock O_O) But I really like the video cause it wasn't a typical video, like those where the gasoo would dance the whole time or the ones that told a tragic sad story. Next thing I knew, I became a big Chae Yeon fan. I guess she just slowly caught my attention with xman.

Since I stopped following DBSK's activities in the summer cause i don't like them in japan, I watched more and more xman and got addicted to Chae Yeon. So now I'm a hardcore fan of hers and I don't think I'll change. I would only watch unsubbed stuff for DBSK and her. I guess xman really did help her gain fans by showing her real personality.
