^I like Takeru, but I agree with you. He's not a very great singer and does indeed need improvement (compared to the great jrock vocalists that are currently in the music industry, Takeru cannot compare). His vocals are still lacking in n0iz stAr.

Aww... Takeru had a lot of cakes on his birthday. It's been awhile since I last checked their blogs.

I'm listening to their n0iZ stAr album right now. I'm at track #4, "Vi-Vi-Vi". The opening was pretty cool. It sounded like you were in a video game or something. Haha! No wonder the PV for "Vi-Vi-Vi" was game-ish. I really like what I heard in track #3, 虚空. I like what I'm hearing so far in the album.

edit: I just finished listening to the album. I actually liked all the songs. No joke. I think this was better than LOVE SCREAM PARTY.

Yeah, Takeru's vocals aren't exactly great. I was hoping that his vocals would kinda improve in the new album, but it kinda sounds the same still. Maybe it's just me. I still heart Takeru though. Hopefully his vocals will get better.

I actually didn't really like "Vi-Vi-Vi", but after listening to it a few times, the song grew on me. The PV was interesting. I laughed so hard when I saw the sunglasses that they were wearing. Wait, I don't think they are sunglasses. Haha. I can't help but think that Takeru stole MC Hammer's pants because they're so poofy. Haha.

Okay, I decided to listen to Vi-Vi-Vi really quick since you guys had problems with it. I personally haven't noticed any variations in the sound yet. We'll have to see after I "unzip" the file.

Watched the Vi-Vi-Vi vid on YouTube last night.

Must say, it was quite random. Those lightsaber battles were awesome though. Random much with the ping pong and Takeru controlling them all to fight and play against each other. XD

I like the song, quite catchy, cept some parts of it coulda been better, like the intro and some of the verses...otherwise job well done by SuG.

I've yet to listen to n0iZ stAr...waiting Eddie! ^^

^Yeah, Takeru has a ridiculously cute voice, but he can't sing xD. His cuteness somewhat makes up for his lack of singing ability, though ^^.

To tell the truth, I'm not really crazy about any of SuG's songs. None of their songs really stick out, but since SuG is new, they still have a lot of time to improve.

I still haven't been able to listen to the whole album. *kick* But, from what I did hear, it is just "ok".

I'm still going to follow them though because I think they've got potential. When I go and listen to other artist's old stuff (Miyavi, alice nine, etc...) I find it kind of... bad [compared to their new stuff]. But over time they matured and got training or whatever. So I think it will work out.

But, yeah... I was kind of expecting more too I guess? But, I'll make a final conclusion when I hear the whole album.

One of the things I can make a decision on right now: I don't like Takeru's hair. It's that little ball on the top of his head.

^As long as the music is good, Takeru could be bald for all I care. ..also, I never thought Miyavi's music was ever really "bad" because his guitar-playing made up for his awful singing . He was musically-involved (+he was pretty good) since Dué le Quartz, so his songs couldn't fail that badly (http://youtube.com/watch?v=_cTLAJbAet4).

SuG's new music does sound very similar to SuG's older songs; for instance, the first few minutes in b.r.k. sounds almost exactly like Love Scream Party. The overall music composition of the album is rather messy, too.

*sigh* I don't even feel they have much potential, anymore. I thought they did when I first heard some of their first songs (since those songs were decent for a beginning band), but now after finding out they made a new album of 11 bad songs, I'm ridiculously disappointed--I couldn't even listen to the whole album because the songs sounded so repetitive and poorly put together.

It's sad to admit, but if Takeru wasn't cute, I probably wouldn't be interested in SuG at all.
