I just watched her performance with Kyuhyun.
It was beautiful. She is so talented for her age.

Yeah, she's an amazing singer.
The moment I heard that KyuHyun had done a duet with a Filipina girl, I knew it was Charice. The video of her singing Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" is all over Naver, so she was well-known for that already.

I'm rooting for this girl. She did an awesome job representing Filipinos, and I hope she achieves even more success. I heard she's already recorded an album in Europe (forgot the country).

I saw it too, it was so amazing...I loved the first song that she sang "And I Am Telling You"...that was on Star King too, and their reaction was priceless.

It's rare to see that kind of performer, with so much passion and confidence, oozing with talent in the Korean showstage where everyone mostly cares about looking good, dressing well, unswitched lapel mics and dancing like there's no tomorrow.

i also thought that SM might have given her a contract deal but i just remembered that she already has a contract with Star Records (a record company here in the Philippines) so yeah, it's impossible.

It's actually not that impossible.

BoA is signed with both AVEX Trax and SM. Sunday was with AVEX Trax before being in CSJH and Choi Soo Young had a Japanese Record Label before entering SM as a trainee. There are more examples too, such as Go Younha and Golf&Mike.

It would be great if she'd give Korea a shot.

Like "unswitched lapel" they do that in dance songs. Looking good and Dressing are part of being
a Singer/Celeb so there is nothing wrong. Besides I think a lot of the Singers in Korea can Sing.



But other than a contract in Philippines [ABSCBN] ... I think she has already signed with a international company
in Europe. Besides if She wants to be a singer in Korea... Mastering the language in the first thing to do ...
I'm not saying I don't want her to be a singer there ... I'm just saying If you want to conquer a certain country
at least know the laguage and culture.

I believe that whether or not she is/will be an SM trainee, Korea had finally opened their eyes about the possibility of scouting Filipino talents. So lucky Filipinos. haha.

If I were to be asked, Filipinos should take it slow.
They tend to look upon the Hollywood dream all of
a sudden that they forgot to remind themselves to
reach it step by step. I'd prefer Charice to hit the
Asian market first and then eventually expand to
the West.

Besides, her contract with Ten Songs is only for
recording purposes. They've never claimed that
they'd mold her to be a star/performer. Just record

I just LOVE this girl.
I mean.. I've seen GREAT GREAT GREAT singers out there but she has so much PASSION.. it almost differs her from every other singer out there..
Lol and its quite rare for me to like a singer this much actually.. so this is really good
Its also the first that I liked a singer.. a real singer.. not an idol..
watching Regine and Sheryn belting out those high notes.. i thought I wouldn't be amazed with a singer anymore.. but this young girl just amazes me.. she has this certain cute spunk that makes you love her .. and with her very strong, high and powerful voice.. she just makes you go insane and think that she's very out of this world jaw droppingly talented...

So there was a rumor she was offered a contract with Sm Entertainment? Wow..
If I were her, I'd certainly grab the oppurtunity.. but I don't think a lot of Filipinos back here knows SM's power yet.. (dang I bet if we say SM.. they'd think about the malls >.<)
Anyway yeah.. I think the singers here are a bit too ambitious.. Its not a bad thing.. but good things doesn't just come right away.. It seems as if they want to go to Hollywood right away.. I know everybody wants to make it big there and make history but as of now.. it isn't really a very nice place for foreigners..
Charice should go for Asia first.. If she gains enough supporters.. I don't think it'll be that hard entering the Hollywood market.. even if she doesn't succeed.. there's still a huge backup... Asia.. the largest continent in this world .. it can do wonders..
But yeah.. its up to her.. I do believe in her talent and I think she's set to be a world star..
though I think assurance is better than risks..

I watched star king just for super junior, but dude, when she busted out "And I Am Telling You"...my face seriously looked just like Kangin's: !

She's so adorable too, her interactions with the Super Junior boys. Her "Oh my God..." when Kangin was wiping the sweat off her forehead was too cute. Not to mention that she and Kyuhun's duet was beautiful, their voices go together so well.

She's so amazing, and at only 14, she puts so many artists that are years older than her to shame. I hope she gains success and popularity, she most CERTAINLY deserves it.
