"My husband and I were there last night and sat at the 200 section. As someone else mentioned from Hawaii of her experience of hearing Cha sing live it sure is different. She's got this big pipe that really carries over even to our section. We found some of the stars we could not really hear what they were singing it is so different with Cha.

She wore a black and gold dress - she looked nice. Sorry but we abided with the rules no cameras but then David Foster kept on saying that we could take pictures of him but not the stars. If we only knew....

She sang I Have Nothing, got a standing ovation, I Will Always Love You, and And I am Telling you, wherein she got another standing ovation.

The only other person that got a lot of standing ovation was Andrea Bocelli. He sang 4 songs and got a standing ovation with those 4 songs. The last song he sang was with Katharine McPhee for The Prayer. It was good but it is always different with him singing it with Celine Dione who he sang it with originally. He closed the first half of the show.

Josh Groban got a standing ovation with his song You Raise Me Up. Here I was expecting Cha to have a duet with someone but was delightfully surprised that she sang solo. He closed the show.

Also, David mentioned that Ms O asked him to put Cha on his show. Oprah's producer Lisa was in the audience and was a big booster of Cha that both she and Oprah asked David to include her in the show. Of course, what Oprah requests you cannot refuse.

"Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner via video praise David for contributing two hits, "I Have Nothing" and "I Will Always Lpve You" to their movie, "The Bodyguard". Well, this is the intro to the WOW performance of David's newest baby, Charice.

She brings the audience to their feet with "I Have Nothing" and "I Will Always Love You" and the "Your Gonna Love Me" sung by Jennifer Hudson in Dreamgirls". Well, I watched Charice through binoculars and folks, she is the real deal. What poise and voice she expressed for someone so young. Clearly, she gives 110% and the audience stood and cheered. It was awesome.

I and my wife went to David Foster and friends concert last night May 23 at Mandalay Bay. Charice was the second to the last performer at that concert (before Josh Groban). I could say with no doubt she had the most powerful vocal performance in there to the point of David foster himself saying "I don't know of anyone yet who can top that performance". Good job Charice. i've seen Charice perform twice on tv and i think she's great, tho her flaw is that she "shouts" rather than "sing from the diaphragm".

however i am very impressed nonetheless at how impressed the people are with her performances.

i'd like to note she has very good timing for jazz. i heard later on that she was trained for jazz too. i am impressed. perfomance-wise, she has that very strong "presence".

there's one tho thing that bothers me to death, and it's about her age. i honestly doubt if her publicity age is her real age. im not trying to make an issue here, but just an opinion... im just wondering if anyone out there has the same thought (about her age).

actually charice is 15 y.o not 16 as we know of she just added a year when she was a guest in korea... her birthday = May 13 1993. I think she's not really shouting..she just sounded like an airplane taking off hahaha...

Oh yeah that duet was amazing. After watching it, I spent like a couple of hours just searching for more videos of her.

I too would love them to sing again.........cha and kyu. They both sang the song 'a whole new world' beautifully. I was actually mesmerized by their voice and chemistry on the stage when both of them were performing. I agree that their voices blended so well with this duet and I'm actually looking forward for them to sing another duet.......... not just once, twice, but many more duets for both It would be so nice if they could record a song together....... I would so purchase it. hehehe You're not alone........ I've seen their duet countless of times....... and I never get tired listening to them. I mean my eyes are always glued to my comp when I watch their clip on yt like this Sadly......... they're both so busy right now.... I don't know when they'll be able to have another duet.... I hope soon coz' I'm going crazy.... LOL........ kyu and cha I love them both
