lol. SBS must have been flooded with requests for another Charice-Kyuhyun duet so they can't help it but invite her again to Star King. 'Come What May' is a very good song and I can already picture Kyuhyun singing Ewan's part and Charice singing Nicole's part. Hopefully, Kyuhyun can again make another flawless English Pronunciation of the Lyrics. I really want these two to have more duets to come.

I've been a stalker of Charice since her Star King apearance. I really want her to be famous. She deserved it. She worked hard to have that powerful voice. I loved her more when I saw her interview wherein she almost cried talking about her mother. SHE LOVED HER MOTHER so MUCH. Somebody told me that she grew up without a father or rather her father abandoned them and that Charice support her family by joining all Singing Contests that she could join. Imagine, At that age, she already joined a total of 80+ Singing Contests!

I agree with you so much! I've been stalking her too since her appearance in Star King. She's the first artist where I want to see successful forever and ever, lol. She definitely loves her mother (I love the fact that she altered some parts of J. Hudson's song to dedicate it to her mother) and she worked so hard getting somewhere with her talent and I hope this is a good start for her and that she'll continue on being successful. Her voice is so beautiful never mind that she can entertain people. To think that this is all for her mother, so that she can be happy.

She's really kind and I hate the fact that people jumps into conclusions saying she's arrogant and whatnot. It's called STAGE PRESENCE people.

First, I can't wait to see her on Ellen and show North America how great she is.

Second, another duet with Kyu Hyun! I'm going crazy over these two having another duet. Haha. Maybe it's because I've never heard of two people who's voices fit so well with each other. And they're singing Come What May, which has beautiful lyrics. Can't wait to see her in Star King again. (I seriously, seriously pray that these two will have a duet cd to come out, haha, I want to hear more duets from them!)

Third, MTV Japan invited her to sing at their annual awards night? This girl is totally going places!

I saw that clip of her in LA. She looks so excited and happy! I'm so glad she gets to go to Disneyland and see the Hollywood Hall of Fame (I haven't seen the latter O__O lucky girl). I hope she enjoys her time here and I hope Ellen helps her on her road to success.

It was Sandara Park, the Korean who became famous here in the Philippines and who's now in YG as a trainee, who said that Se7en asked her if she knew Charice. Sandara didn't watch Little Big Star nor Star King so she told him that she didn't. Se7en said, according to her, that he's impressed of Charice's talent.

Sandy said that Charice was a big buzz in Korea after Star King.

FYI, Charice and Sandara shared the same Filipino management company and they're both products of ABS-CBN Talent searches. Sandy's from Star Circle Quest and Charice's Little Big Star.

MTV Japan invited her? Wahhh! She'll have the oppurtunity to see THSK? I'm so envious. She's surely paving her way in both Asia and the West.

Sam could dance, sing, and looks good.

At the time, even if Charice did sing better, sam had a bigger fanbase to sell to. It's all about money and marketing and stuff so the judges were looking at contestants on profitability as well as overall talent.


But anyway, lady luck is smiling on Charice now. ^^

really?? i searched the naver news in korea.. none of em mentioned that except she did a duet with kyuhyun on starking.. besides.. SM doesnt just sign contracts with ppl.. they have to do auditions to get in no matter what.. dont they? if she really was offered then. it would of been on the internet news on naver.. cuz it is S.M.ent... nn her clip on star king became ppopular after like 3 weeks since the show was aired.. over da internet..when she started gaining popularity in the u.s. so i think SM.. lost the chance to even offer her a contract by then..

I read somewhere (I forgot where.. but I believe it's an interview with her.. ) that she said that SM offered her a contract, but she refused because she still has contract with her agency in Philippines.

Asianbuzz: Some source state that you will be signing up as SM Entertainment's trainee. Is there any truth to this? If so, can you share more details?
Charice: Hmm…Yes, they did ask me to join them but it still seems far-fetched as of now because I'm still a contract artist with a local label here and it will be until May next year that my contract ends. So that only means that I can't sign up with another talent agency as of now.

She is in LA right now. And she will guest in Ellen deGeneres show. (saw the report from TVPatrol World. )

I just saw her on Ellen too. She was amazing....I kinda wanted her to sing a different song, but Im still happy because she sang And I an Telling You very well. She was starstrucked, and I got teary-eyed when she cried after her first performance. Her mom was crying too

I love how Ellen was very warm and supportive of her on the show. And the audience were great too! They were really amazed at her singing!
Charice was confident when she was singing, and it made her performance very lively!

Her 2nd performance was really good too, especially at the beginning when everyone was so silent and there was no background music playing. Although I kept picturing her performance when she was 12 yrs old....lol.

And she got a new ipod from Ellen
