Just some news:
- Charice will be flying to Italy in a day or two to appear on a television show there. She was invited to duet with some Italian superstars or something.
- It looks like her album will be mostly upbeat songs with only a few ballads. One song is called Electric and she mentioned Jordin Sparks-type music.
- Charice really wants to include a Filipino song on her album and David Foster is okay with the idea.
- Supposedly, they're going to release the album on iTunes first since she got discovered on the internet after all.

I don't remember where I read or watched that bit of info. I can't be bothered to search right now but all I know is it was an official news source. The first thing that popped in my head was "Oh, I guess they're doing the Utada Hikaru route with releasing on iTunes first" but you're right, maybe it's just the single and not the whole album. I personally don't think it's a good idea to release the album online before it hits stores.

The girl's talent is simply astounding. She is one of the few people out there who has made me proud of my roots. Just a suggestion though, I'd hope she'd find time to improve on her diction and public speaking ability. They're part of the total performer's package anyway and would benefit her in the long haul.
When she sang 'My Heart Will Go On' on the Oprah, I would like to cry like holy~ TT_TT She's really talented and still young! I wonder she could be the next world diva with that kind of voice....
And she is Asian.

its in Filipino but basically, she mentioned how she sang 2 of Beyonce's songs for the audition and had to read part of the script to the producers... she then proceeded to imitate the Chipmunks' voices (which I had to put on replay for quite a while coz it was sooooo adorable~~~) and then it proceeded to mention how her manager called her mom to tell them the good news that she passed the audition but will be playing as "Charice" and be in the school singing competition. She then talks about her favorite sport in school is track and field and also plays a bit of badminton with her brother and proceeded to mention about her YT account and how she personally uploads stuff and maintains the channel personally and then finally she sings a Filipino song acapella~
LOL.. that was random I know.. but yeah... that's about the gist of it...
What I am excited about is, since Super Junior members did the Korean dub for the first Alvin and the Chipmunks movie, I wonder how they will react to seeing Charice in the sequel? Full circle anyone? XD

A staff in Ti Lascio Una Canzone which is also a fan of hers said that Warners Italy would sign a contract with her immediately. Now that's totally cool.
