Gosh i can't belive how amazingly everything is working out for her. Her new single blew me away, the song itself isn't anything amazing but her voice was so powerful and she makes it sound soo good. I re-watched her Star King episode, my has she grown soo much. I remembered how shocked i was when i first saw her SK performance, i even thought she was Lipsyncing LOL. Fantastic to see that she's doing well.

Hoooly crap that's HUGE! Just to be included on that cd compilation is a big thing because "Now That's What I Call Music" is such a successful series and as you can see, they've had over 30 volumes already. This is major exposure for Charice and I'm surprised that they included her because she just released her single less than a week ago.

Note to God is great! & I'm happy that she's doing really well on the charts!
The performance was breathtaking!

That's because she's a newcomer and Note To God is one of the two slower songs on the CD (the other one is Halo by Beyonce), while the rest are pretty much fast or mid-tempo tracks. The fact that Charice's single was even included on the Now series is already a big honor because the other songs are certified hits. Anyway, I know you're a Charice hater from your previous posts and you're just trying to rain on her parade so whatever.

i really dont see any problem being on the last on the track?
i do think the more appropriate question is, how the hell did she got included in that album

That's not too shabby for one tv appearance and no other promo for the song or radio airplay whatsoever. Darn the American Idols for taking over the charts because of the finale last week. It's a pity that some of Charice's older fans couldn't buy her single because they don't understand the whole internet download deal lol but hopefully she can do better when her physical album comes out.

^ Yeah, the #24 is for the Hot Digital Songs chart which is based purely on internet sales. At least she still cracked Billboard's Hot 100 chart, which combines airplay & sales, even though she hasn't even gone for adds on the radio. Anyway here are her chart positions:

Charice just has to keep up with good singing, good performances, and good promotions. CAA is doing great ~

Never trust anything but the real Billboard Charts. However she's at #44, which is her peak position. Congratulations to her and all her adoring fans. This is a wonderful achievement. I hope she fully enjoys and appreciates this moment.

The Billboard Top 100 Hot Digital Singles is a different chart than the Billboard Hot 100.

The Billboard Top 100 Hot Digital Singles is based on digital sales alone, iTunes and Amazon.

The Billboard Hot 100 is different, it includes physical sales, and probably airplay and video play.

Charice #44 in Hot 100 without a physical single, a music video, and radio play is like a miracle.

The problem now is longevity which I'm sure the song won't have unless they promote heavily outside television. The only promo she has so far is that one performance and the Today performance this Monday, and all that does is cause sales spikes. She needs radio airplay to stay on the charts but Note To God is like an Adult Contemporary song and I don't know if Warner is even going to attempt to get the song on the radio. I have a feeling this single is purely an introduction to the public and to build awareness before Charice's debut album in a couple of months, which will have more radio friendly songs. Still, what an accomplishment! Just getting in the Top 50 on the main Billboard chart is already a big achievement.

hot 100 includes radio airplay so the fact that she is #24 in most number of sales and drop down to #44 in hot 100 means she is not even getting any radio airplays.

Pretty good start for me, if she could just get some love from radio`s, she can be top 10-20.
