I just got back from being in Japan for 3 weeks (Shiga, Nagoya, Tokyo, Osaka) visiting the boyfriend.
I went up to Tokyo on the 6th to attend GLAY & KYOSUKE HIMURO'S SWING ADDICT live. There were tons of cosplayers, but I didn't take many pictures because I was feeling quite overwhelmed ^^;;

random girl cosplaying Hisashi from ROCK'N'ROLL SWINDLE live. I love her outfit.


JIRUGI (Jiro cosplayer) Her cosplay was quite amazing, she looks a lot like Jiro and she was VERY kind. It was funny because she took pictures with many Japanese fans, but when I asked her to take a picture she ALSO wanted a picture with ME. I guess cause i'm foreign


we talked a little in Japanese then I asked her for her cosplay name and she gave me a business card with her site on it, etc.

Awww I wonder if Hisakichi, Teruo, Taku-Low and Jirota were there.. They're the best GLAY cosplay group ever XDD And Jirugi's a good Jiro cosplayer too ^^

Because.. I think she always seems to have the same expression so many of her pics look the same.. also her costumes aren't always that .. you know. I think a long time ago her costume choices were a lot more creative.. I duno if she makes them or not too, if she made the suit she wore for Raito I would respect her a whole lot more.. though I do love her Kadaj cosplay.

I have to say that i agree
i used to be a huge fan of stay
she still makes great cosplays
but she isn't improving or changing..
and as you said about the expressions on her face being the same in every photoshoot or something, i so agree.. i still like her, but less and less.. :/ she should come up with something very very unexpected or something.. do something different

The art is kind of cool for that manga but it's pretty pointless to read if you ask me. Nothing happens and no story.

I've been thinking of opening up a forum board on my server dedicated to cosplay. Sharing pictures of popular cosplayers, as well as your own. A place to gather ideas, to have discussions, etc.

Would anybody be interested in this? I would open and host the forum, but i'd like people to admin it, at least two people.

you know there's something about these cosplayers that have the same effect when i see their pictures!

they have this certain appearance..don't know what it is?

maybe it's they're facial expression or their facial features...or maybe its the type of photos they take..

they should really be models too! not just cosplaying..but modeling for real..

^ Actually, you know this folder of her (Cong's) artwork "圖説洞玄子十三經" you wouldn't happen to know the password? I've been dying to see it but can't seem to crack it I see the crosses you're talking about, they were loaded before the webs-tv database crashed and Cong hasn't reloaded them, that's why it's gone
