I wouldn't suggest to you what cosplay you can do- Cosplayers cosplay the characters they really like- That's where they get their passion for anyway, so maybe you could try looking for a character that you like- And it's important to find a character that at least you bear a slight resemblance to, or confident of looking like the character- A successful cosplay would be when a person take a glance at you, and immediately recognize who you are doing. Try to mix around with the local cosplayers in your area, and get tips and lookout for events that you can attend. ^^ Just a couple of stuff I can suggest, cos I did them all heh^

As for someone who wants to cosplay for the first time, better start with easy cosplay, I mean, characters with simple costume ^^

Hanabi [what should I call you? ^^;;]>>> The first one is Ayase,a Taiwanese Kyo cosplayer ^^ However, the second girl I don't know, but I'm pretty sure she's Chinese [Taiwanese, Hong Kong, Mainland - I don't know] coz if she's Japanese, the pic would be smaller as many Japanese VK cosplayers use Mobile site and therefor, their pics are smaller <-- what kind of logic did I used.. -__-;;

The last one, I'm pretty sure it's Ryo, it's one of her original pics. The PS style also same as her ^^ Also, Ryo LOVES using that contacts, the one with yellow and red [kinda like fire] in color.

i finally looked through all 183 pages. OMG~ Stay is so hot! (not in the wrong way) but yeah.
I want to do a cosplay now. Since I loveeee Tifa & Rinoa (finalfantasy) and Yuki from VampireKnight,
I want to do a cosplay of one of them ... for Halloween (: haha. ;[ but i dont know where to find the
costume; i cant buy them online because im not allowed to buy anything online. I cant sew or anythng
so it's impossible for me to make the costume.

↑ Most cosplayers, if not sew, usually send their costumes for tailoring.

You can try getting a few profile pictures of the characters you want to cosplay, then head down to the local tailor and see if they can do it for you. Go cloth shopping too, if the tailor doesn't provide cloth for you (be warned, it can be quite expensive). If you can't get wigs, choose the character which your hair can easily be trimmed, styled, or coloured to resemble. A simple character cuts down the needs for props too, but props can be made from anything, like styrofoam cylinders to toilet rolls. Anything else than involves cloths can be taken to the tailor.

^ The first one's definitely Huangshan.

The second one is Filipino cosplayers. Pao [Chigusa07] knows them, if I remember it correctly. The Raito cosplayer is a girl BTW, who goes by the name Jin ^^ She and her cosplay group mostly consists of art students, so that's why their pics are very art-sy [sp?]

^ Well, not sure about that. Japanese cosplayers usually use Mixi since it's easier to access from their cellphone. Even though MySpace Japan has been launched, but it's not as popular as Mixi.
