LOL! It's funny that you think I can attempt Zack. That guy has crazy spikey hair. But I'm liking the idea of Wolfwood. He's always been a favourite of mine in terms of anime characters. Mugens do-able but then I'd have to grow out that facial hair. XD

I'm currently trying to find good wigs, which one do you guys think would look better? The 2nd one is a bit more expensive, but I'm willing to pay more if it looks better ^^

the gas mask is abit tricky , and its the only significant feature of the Helghast..
so i might take awhile with it

also , i bought 2 body armours for this.. 1st one i saw on ebay looked close enough , then looked more around Ebay and the 2nd one was the perfect match...

Gosh, I've bee inspired to cosplay. But I always get so lazy...Costumes are really expensive, I can't afford to be a cosplayer. How much so you think it costs per costume for them?

I've been a cosplayer for years and the costumes don't always have to be expensive as hell. It really depends on what character you want to cosplay.

My first cos was the brown school uniform of Makoto Kino from Sailormoon. All in all it cost me less than 50$, cuz I did most of it myself.

My next projects will be a little more expensive...guess in the end it'll have cost me around 250$. Plus all the working-time.

I'm commissioning someone else to make me a wig (its gonna cost around $250usd ) but I really don't want to wear this wig to the convention >< I guess I'll post some pics that I took for my auction (haha)

I'm not a veteran cosplayer--I've only made three costumes so far and I still need a lot more practice. I did a Vincent costume pretty recently. It's not completely done, but I put on the top part. I can't put on the entire costume by myself because it's pretty restricting, especially the extremely pointy boots that made my toes swollen for days.

I got a tip from a friend of mine to go as Mikami Teru in thenext anime convention. My friends and I plan on going as a little Death Note group with a Raito, L, Misa, Near and Teru. I still think I should go as L though, by then my hair would be hella long (got my hair cut recently cause my school told me off for having long hair apparently). I don't think I make a good Teru to be honest, unless I have a wig...but I'd rather not use wigs.
