Pardon me for intruding, but I think you all look SO awesome. I've never cosplayed, but I've done the video work on a few and I think its so cool. I wish people walked around like this all the time. We should all pitch in and buy an island where we can walk around dressed however we want. It's so colorful and awesome. /done

There's so many amazing cosplayers! As much as I love cosplay, I don't think I could spend all the time and money that these people do on costumes and props, plus the hair and make-up. It's insane! Maybe on Halloween and during the summer would I go all out, haha.

my costume is partially tailored, and partially put together myself.
you can see that it's not exactly accurate (socks, boots, coat style, bow colour, etc.)... so yah :x
i only had the coat tailored... and it wasn't even tailored nicely! it's not that accurate at all T__T

I've always wondered about this for a long time. What materials do people use to make swords?

^ Probably forms of plastic. That's what I tend to notice anyway. Metal would be such a bother to carry around true? It'd add to realism but imagine carrying it around in public. If it looks plastic, people probably couldn't care.

No, if you had metal, some confests might not let you because it might be too realistic like as a weapon.
