Ah I think what makes all these cosplays good is the quality of the hair and the contrast of your face and skin tone with the hair.

Speaking about good cosplays, theres loads of people famous for cosplaying. Like Kipi I believe.

^yehh i totally agree, if someone's wig and makeup is horrible even though their costume is awesome, it'll mess up whole thing >< hair and makeup is just as important as the costume xD

The con i went to was okay, such a long line just to get an autograph from Vic Mignogna (voice of :Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist, and a lot of others).

The first time getting attacked by camera makes you feel like your a celeb lol. My second day at the con i wore a hamtaro pj suit and girls jumped me the second i walked out -.-.

Namine: I've always thought the Rozen Maiden character's clothes are somewhat close to Lolita. But it's more Victorian-inspired. There's Misato (NANA) and Momoko (Kamikaze Girls).

When going to anime Expo's does anyone ever...uhh wonder WHY people wear skanky Cosplay outfits (the anime isnt skanky, their body just makes it look that way like ELFEN LIED)

It also is REALLY scary for me to always see LARGE people in SMALL costumes for SMALL people... =[
but what can i say, anime expo isnt for staring at people in costumes...that look funny...or is it?

I don't know....I just find great happiness but I get this WIERD feeling the photo will be on the web saying "WORST COSPLAY" one of the fears of cosplaying! What would be the most striking cosplay you would like to see at a con??
I was wondering because when your at a con there are people who do good cosplaying but don't get as much attention then another cosplayer who is not as great as the other. Popularity of the character?

^ Yeah, I think it's defintely got to do with how well known the character is and if people could recognise it. For example something as simple as L from Death Note might get more looks and attention than someone who did a cosplay from errr I dunno...Code Geass. All of Code Geass' cosplayers always put on a good cosplay IMO, but get overlooked cause it's still a relatively new anime (keeping in mind that cons are organised by westerners who probably watch the dubs rather than downloading subs).

I found this out when I did L. I saw heaps of awesome cosplays from animes I didn't even know about that got overlooked only because I was squatting and had a lollipop in my mouth.

After I did a cosplay of Haruhi suzumiya i realized that it is such a popular cosplay along with misa amane X_X ohh and Yuuki from Vampire Knight too....
