Sounds nice, different from her previous albums. Heavier beats are utilized more, everything's dance-ey. XD

solid album, i like it too...im only bummed that Get Back did not make the cut...that song is fire!

I am really likin "Hot as Ice." Super fun. Overall, it's a fun dance album--will most definitely break it out with my friends.

Break the Ice is the song I'm really into right now.
Hmmmm...Could my crazy fandom be revived? Not sure, the personal crap still lingers in my mind. Her album will be released next week but she has not been doing any promotion at all!

First I must say that this is the way Techno is supposed to sound...American Techno is garbage but I must give it to her producers they made some goood beats. Now on the other hand if yall pay attention you don't hear that much of Britney...I hear A LOT of background singers. The other thing is there is A LOT of recycled beats...I am hearing notes from every song in a song if you understand what I am trying to say....this is not Britney at her best but Production at its best. Sorry....

i actually enjoyed her album. She has great songs even though its repetitive beats and you can't really hear her, but for some reason its just extremely catchy hehehe.

There hasn't been any real promotion since she's going through a custody battle and all that... but there are a lot of positive and mixed reviews, a lot of radio stations are playing tracks off the album, and of course there's some buzz on the internet...

How much will she sell... We'll find out soon.

I was very surprised to hear how good this album is (Toy Soldiers FTW) but I won't be buying it.

It's out today. =]

It got a 3.5 out of 5 from Rolling Stone, which is pretty good. They say it's her best album.

I actually like Get Back more than a few songs from the official ablum, so I don't understand why it didn't make the cut. IT would've made a good second single, although...It's pretty much too reminiscent of Sexyback. It's #1 on iTunes, and the iTunes chart usually predicts what the physical sales will be as well...So...Let's see how well it sells even though the album wasn't promoted AT ALL. All the publicity pretty much makes up for everything lol.

all of the songs are dance tracks..and the lyrics are more suited for the older audience - i think ppls that grew up listening to her would appreciate this album more than her bubbly-pop songs in the past...

Britney Spears looks to have a clear path to top The Billboard 200.

First-day sales from the eight chains that report to Nielsen SoundScan's Building Charts put Spears' Jive/Zomba release "Blackout" at 124,000 on the report released today (Oct. 31).

That is more than double the number of units posted by Carrie Underwood's chart-topping "Carnival Ride," which rounded up 49,000 sales from the start of the tracking week through close of business yesterday. That album is currently in the runner-up position.

Zomba estimates "Blackout" will open in the range of 330,000-350,000, a ballpark that falls in line with her Building Chart total.

Since the Building Charts' inception, six of the seven weeks' Wednesday leaders were also No. 1 on The Billboard 200 when final charts were compiled with data from all reporting sellers. Jimmy Eat World's "Chase This Light" was the only Wednesday leader that did not hold its pole position.

The Building Charts also seem to confirm that the nation's biggest seller, Wal-Mart, will not report sales on its U.S. exclusive, the Eagles' "Long Road Out of Eden," as that much-anticipated album is missing from the Wednesday list. Wal-Mart usually blocks its proprietary titles from appearing on Top Comprehensive Albums, as was the case with its Garth Brooks exclusives.

Anderson Merchandisers and Handleman Company, the racks that stock music at Wal-Mart, are among the eight accounts who provide data to Nielsen SoundScan's Building Charts. The remaining six reporting merchants are Trans World Entertainment, iTunes, Best Buy, Circuit City and Target.

"In the Zone," Spears' last studio album, opened with 609,000 in 2003 when it became her fourth No. 1 album. The Eagles' last major album, the live "Hell Freezes," began at 267,000 units when it posted the first of two weeks it spent in the top slot of The Billboard 200.
