Hahahaha... I've been going through that roller coaster of emotions every since dates started leaking and were then squashed as wrong. My little heart can't take it. LOL!

Eh, if anything I can drive/fly to Dallas. I would just have to get the okay from my father (yes, I am 21) to go. And he's not a big fan of the jrock. XD But I'm hoping they squeeze a Houston show in between the Biloxi and Dallas one. They have a two open days. Lol. And it would be sweet if there was a Houston and I did both that and Dallas.

Ugh, "this year we are proud to bring audiences the best Japanese Rock bands to the United States". I guess that means no jrock bands in Canada. They seem pretty specific about it. D:

Man if I didn't have a Spring Break trip planned I would have had a mini tour with my friend because TOC is hitting up the east coast during my break. I could have went to Philly then NJ then DC then Albany LOL. But going to just NJ is fine with me. Maybe even Philly if I feel like cutting out of school early a day or two.

You should definitely try to make the Dallas one. How far away from you is it?

i would trust RTOC's website since...well it's RTOC lol. And according to the RTOC webpage, they won't even be announcing Canadian tour dates until January so the dates on the other page may just be tentative and not official.

Lol, then they should stop saying "we're bring jrock bands to America!". It's deceiving. Hahaha, my friend had a panic attack over it.

Dallas is either three/four hours away. I'm thinking it's four. But I'd have to figure out if it's cheaper to fly or drive, gas prices are crazy. (Though, it's not as bad here. Not $3 a gallon yet. Wow, that got really OT)


And yeah, I'd assume the official site would list accurate dates.

I've grabbed my tickets today Woot my first concert. And finally it's in my city for once. Don't have to pester my parents about going for a 3 hour drive down to L.A or something. However, the american bands that are participating I have never heard of...hrm.

Anyway, now I have to wait until April. -fidgets- yay! and hopefully my friend can tag along, or I'll be going their alone. er.

Going to concertts alone isn't that bad. Back when I went to alot of hard-rock-concerts, I went alone most of the time. You always meet nice people in the crowd. At least that's my experience.

Darn...I miss seeing Despa live. My ex-best friend is still in Kyoto and she has seen them sooooooo often now...*sighs* *green with envy* She told me in her last letter that she caught Zero's pick and one of Tsukasa's drumsticks at one of the gigs.

Anyway...I wish you guys an awesome time at TOC!

^ Caught zero's pic a couple of years ago at their last concert in NY and I had a hand on a drumstick, but damn fangirls are vicious- she was on the floor biting ankles for that thing O_o.
I'm going to the show in Nassau (NY) I really don't like Arenas but whatever...can't wait to see MUCC and D'espa.

I got Tsukasa's drumstick at the gig in Kopenhagen in 2006...after a fight with a fanBOY. And at the stockholm-gig last summer I got one of the roadies to give me the pick that had remained on Zero's micstand after the gig. I gave the pic to my ex-best friend back then...somehow I wish I hadn't now.

I'm curious if I'll get a chance to see Despa this year.

Tickets aren't that difficult to get when you're in Japan. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you'll be able to catch a show or two.

as we all know, Despa is gonna be touring in Taste of Chaos '08 so J-Shock Records is going to release Despa's album "Mirror" in the U.S. March 18th!!
The Underneath's album Moon Flower is going to be EXCLUSIVELY released in the US, before its release in Japan (so cool for them!!)

ahhh I'm gonna go grab a copy of each.

OT but I atcually think that the Underneath sounds similar to Despa~ theyre pretty good :3

I hope they play BORN here in AZ... but I doubt it, it's an old song... It's my favorite though. XD I've heard the set isn't TOO small, 5-6 songs which is normal for non-solo concerts even in Japan.

I just bought my ticket yesterday though. I can't wait. I've never actually seen any band I like live. (Pretty sad I know lol but asian stuff is the only music I've ever really been big about and no one comes to AZ...)
