^ i'm going to asbury NJ on the 15th. I gotta rush back home the 14th (I got a test that day) then wake up mad early to hop a train to Jersey to hitch a ride with my friend. Then after that I gotta rush home, prepare for my trip then leave. No time to even relax at home for a day.

I'll try and see if they allow multiple stuff signed. Usually the management are pains in the butt with stuff like this. They rush you through the line and kick you out the door in less than 5 seconds.

I just received message that Despa will release a new single on May 14th, called "Brilliant". A ballad from what I know...and they're definitely working on a new album.

So my show was yesterday. It was awesome. I got like third row in the pit so it was a little crazy. I had to get out of there before MUCC came on since I was getting so mad. It was a good thing too since people started crowd surfing and the people in the second and first row got it rough. The security guards were yanking people outta the crowds by dragging them over the first and second row people. Anyways...

LOL my friend got the set list and it actually said "MC" for when Hizumi would speak to the crowd. I had NO IDEA what he said but I loved every minute of it lol. I love his engrish. I think he said "what's up asbury park" at one point hahaha and also "We are D'espairsRay" lol.

The show was awesome. I loved infection. One of my favorite songs ever. I stood by Karyu and Hizumi and got a pretty good view of both. I also got to see Tsukasa this time since his drums were pretty close up and right behind Hizumi.

I left the pit when MUCC came on but I enjoyed their show from the seated area. I really like FUZZ and Libra.
The Underneath were pretty cool too.

For the signings they ran out of posters by the time i got up so i had to search for stuff to have the bands sign. I bought a photoset of Despa to have them sign. OMG they're so nice <3 (and really really hot....all of them....so hot) I got to shake Hizumi's hand (also the rest of the band. Tsukasa's arm is so skinny!!)....that was the best part of the day. I love that man. I managed to say "you're my favorite band" before choking up and smiling like an idiot lol. He kinda just chuckled and was like "oh!" But it sucks that i'm already starting to forget the whole experience of meeting them lol. But for MUCC I got them to sign my ticket stub and for The Underneath I found a promo card somewhere with their pic and asked them to sign that. If I knew they were out of posters I would have gotten a poster of the bands at the JRock house booth or a T-shirt or something. Especially MUCC. I regret having them sign something so stupid lol. They were really good live. I never really listened to them but I enjoyed their show. Tatsuro has pretty bad a$$ engrish too hahaah. He's pretty awesome.

@ Shirley: they only allowed one thing for the bands to sign so I couldn't get them to sign extra stuff. Sorry

i haven't bought a CD since Dozing Green (or Mirror...whichever came later) so i'm pretty excited for this release. But then I got a little too excited and ended up ordering the US version of Spiral Staircase lol. I wanted to buy it at the JRockHouse booth but they didn't have it.

I think from now on i'm only pre-ordering D'espa or Diru stuff and get other CDs after listening to them I spend too much money on J-Rock *hugs tour shirts that I will probably never wear* (I have a bad collecting habit *sigh*)

^ the US version of Spiral Staircase was a deal! It was only $20 compared to $40 for the Japan version. That's like only 13 euros for you guys! (though they made the DVD region 1 only)

Gan-Shin released Spiral Staircase over here, too. Guess it's 19€ just like Liquidize was...oh well...I might save up the money I get from my mom for lunch at uni...I hardly eat anything at the moment anyway...

^ as recent as i've seen. The boys still look like that though....so i'm assuming it should be recent lol.

i've just seen them the other day at Long Beach Arena, and yeah, they still look like that. They were just soooo great on stage. I was damn lucky to be in the front row. The thing I regret was when Zero throws two of his picks and they went to waste. Because it didn't even reach the guard in front of me, I've asked the guard to give it to me, but he refused to. I hate it!!! I also got squashed against the wall blockage in front of me and so I got out in the during Bullet for my valentine performed. Which was awesome, 'cause I didn't even realized that the Japanese bands were holding a signing session. Got out and saw the flyer, which everything at the end paid off. I shook hand with all the 3 bands and was so nervous. They also signed my CD too^^ I can't recall much of what I said to them. But I did invite all of them back. I was intended to tell d'espairsray how good looking they were there XD But they were just amazing!!!

I've heard of them, but never tried out their music until now. Better late than never right? I'm trying out their MIRROR album and I actually like all the songs that I've heard so far. They're pretty good. Now to learn the members' names.

^ I liked coll:set better than MIRROR but coll:set has a darker sound than MIRROR.

Actually I know none of their ages exactly...but as far as I know they are around my age...one or two years yonger maybe. That would make them something between 29 and 31.

But I an ask them...should I ever see tham face to face again...*sighs* right now it feels like all the world saw them...except me. Now they're returning to Japan...and I doubt they will do any lives before the release of Brilliant...I wish they would finally announce something...the waiting is driving me NUTS!

About the new pic...saw it on their OHP and they updated their myspace with a larger, full-body-version *drools* They all look sooooooooo good...and no, I wasn't glued to the screen drooling over Karyu...well...at least not for long. I was more busy figuring out Tsukasa's outfit. Looks like h.Naoto-stuff to me. And Tsu took the braids out!

Hai hai, I'm alive. Real life somehow got me in it's clutches...uni has started again and on top of that I took a break from fandom...I just needed time for me. Now my life is even more upside down...but I feel better still.

Actually I had the chance to see them without sunglasses from time to time...even though one of them is ALWAYS wearing sunglasses...if it's not Zero, it's Karyu...you see Hizu and Tsu without glasses most often...well at least that's what I experienced.

I don't think Zero's face will ever change...and I don't want it to...it belongs to him...it's part of what makes him fascinating. In the past I tended to...well not ignore him, but I didn't pay that much attention to him, as my ex-best friend was claiming ownership and got furious when I took more than a glance at him. Oh well...*shrugs*
