Gah, my brain feels completely numb. I've been sitting at university for nine hours trying to prepare stuff for my show next week. Three interviews are edited now, two still need to be. And I'll do it today...even though it's a holiday. Things need to be done...*sighs*

One of the interviews I edited already is the Despa one. Made me smile, because I remembered how I was sitting at this small table with them...*sighs* I really hope those guys from finland will inform me about my accreditation-status soon.

Well, anyway...I got news. I just found an email from the orga of Tuska-festival in my inbox.

They turned my application for accreditation down. If Ruisrock sends me the same message it means I probably won't see Despa...*sighs* Unless they DO add some more concerts to their tour...I sure hope so.

Well...I can't afford to fly over to finland and pay for both festivals...which is why I tried to get in as press. And I wanted to record stuff and do interviews for Campus Radio...well...they declined.

BUT...

...my best friend got accreditation for Tuska!!! The confirmation was in her inbox last night. I hope the reply from Ruisrock will be positive as well. Now I can call Marius from Gan-Shin and get the interview with Despa organized ^^

Which reminds me...should we get accreditation for Ruisrock...we should definitely meet up, girl!

Wah... hey guys (though I rarely post in here). But last night, the first night of jrev, I was in the back and ended up sitting behind vip (LOLZ) and the Despa boys were standing right there. XD
They're looking good. Super good. My friend and I waved at Zero and he waved back (though... he seemed a little surprised). Karyu kept standing up and then squatting down. Hizu and Tsu just stood there watching the bands perform. I was surprised that they sat there watching a lot of the bands on the first night. And they were chatting to the boys of Merry and MUCC. Lol... I will totally be expanding and fangirling on this when I write up my live report.

*sighs* No news from me yet. Bet I will have to wait until Despa are back from LA...but hey, it's worth the wait.

All expand a bit. I gave up on my live report for a while:

I looked at my luck with the vip section... as um... I dunno. XD I was almost in tears when I first got in the venue. We were thrid tier (very back) and couldn't see over ANYONE. So I sat down with my friend and her mom because her mom wanted to sit in the bar area to drink. XD Me and my friend stood on chairs in the back and watched and had an awesome view. I mean, the venue is rather small so we had a good view of the stage. When her mom wanted to get in the merch line she asked me to watch their table. So I was sitting there and was glaring at the back of the head of the guy in front of me (leaning against the short wall of vip). I looked to his left and immediately recognized Gara (huge fangirl here XD) I then looked around and saw all four Despa boys, four of Merry (excluding Nero) and all of MUCC (Tatsurou was tipsy XD). Actually, the Despa was more to my right and everyone else was in front of me. But they were all interacting. Gara and Tatsurou were talking and laughing like little girls. I know this isn't a Merry thread... but I was freaking out over being able to hear Gara carry on a convo and laugh. (this was inbetween sets)

As for Despa... Karyu was wearing some tight red pants (WTF?) and a tight long sleeved white shirt, a beenie, and sunglasses. Yeah, sunglasses in the venue. Way too look obvious. Hizumi was in all black but it looked like half a costume and less like a normal outfit. Tsukasa was... in jeans and a black jacket. Zero, I just momentarily forgot. But I do remember saying "Zero is so pretty!" a few hundred times. He just looked really good. Me and my friend were flipping out when Zero walked back into vip and saw us blatantly staring at him. That's when we waved. He then sidled up next to Karyu to talk (Karyu leaned down to hear him and probably yell in his ear so Zero could hear him). Karyu kept turning and glancing at us. x___x I felt kinda bad. I bet they wanted to enjoy watching without worrying about us. But he didn't mind... if his smirks meant what I think they meant. Tsukasa was in business mode and just watched the bands the whole time, not moving. XD Hizumi leaned against the wall and zoned out, then noticed me staring. >.> He's funny. He just gave me a blank look, then smiled before looking away.

All three bands filed out after the annoucement about that damn super band. XD But only Merry and MUCC came back. Tatsurou was even more tipsy and happy. Then they left during alice nine. I guess they didn't want to get caught up in the rush of people leaving. I will say this, none seemed all that excited. XD I mean, no one got into the music really. But I really wasn't expecting them to (that's not a knock at the bands, I loved every band...) But when me and my friend were headbanging we would almost smack various Merry and MUCC members. Why wouldn't they just scoot over? XD


As for their performance... XD I was in the back behind vip again. But my friend... well, she had access to the roped off medical section. It was the front two rows of the right side of the front tier (level with the stage). Well, I skipped down there for Girugamesh and Despa (I missed Merry... >.> I won't go into that). THEY WERE AWESOME. I was expecting them to be last though, I assumed they were bigger with the American audience then MUCC... So I was caught off guard. I jumped up and screamed and leaned over the barrier/wall/thing. They strutted out and were just hot. Their set list is a bit lost to me at the moment (my brain is mush). So I was smack in front of Karyu (<333) and was a bit beside myself. I've never actually headbanged that hard before either. >.> But me and my two friends were the only people really headbanging in our area and got lots of love from Karyu and Hizumi. I stuck out horribly. Literally, everyone around me wore black while I had on a bright light blue shirt with smiling cupcakes. Yeah, I dress ridiculously happy/preppy.
Ugh, I tired so I'll stop here and seriously, the rest will just go in a report... unless you have a specific question. But I leave you with this because it is so freakin... JLAF:KJD)(&#:KLJAD:LA~!!!!!!!!!!!

Hizumi sounded really good and was energetic. They all were, which was good to see. And they took a long time leaving the stage, long waving. XD
And apparently Karyu got the slinky we gave him. He came out of the venue playing with it and everyone was fangirling over how cute he was. T___T I miss them already.
