Anyway, his outfit is very similar to the Gackt one, though Chacha's coat doesn't have that things in both sides, and is longer ^__^

We were both acting in a musical and in one part I was to lie on the floor lifeless and he was to kneel down beside me and check if I was alright. These are the birds that I deem to be of main focus in the Redemption PV. I knew that Gackt wouldn't just pick some random birds, so I've done some research. Here are my findings. My opinions and relations are in (( and )). The country/religion of origin on the different views of the birds are italicized previous to the ideas of that country/religion.

The Owl *Seen In Glimpses Peering Around the Room* - A night bird that cannot tolerate the light ((Vampire connection)); Contrasted to the Eagle.

I would highly recommend that people pay attention to the Biblical and Christian ideas, mainly because I know Gackt seems to love to play with them. I'll let you all come up with your own ideas for this, but I hope it at least makes you think a little. Please give me any feedback...

Wo wowo!! That made my ideas cleared ^___^ About the owl, I agree with the girl about the vampire connection. The Raven is the darkness, the Darkside Inhabitants. And the eagle is his soul. But I'm not sure what to think about the falcon...
Anyway maybe... his soul/the light pushes down/destroys the darkside -> Redemption?

She had a phase where she was bashing him majorly...I was so angry back then. She likes to point out that his music is unmelodic and that his voice always seems to be a little off and that he sounds like he's having a sore throat constantly and so on... She doesn't seem to notice how much it hurts me that she talks about him that way. And it's no use telling her...she simply doesn't understand.

Redemption is amazing... I love the song, and the imagery in the PV is nice... the raven in it reminded me of Edger Allen Poe's poem The Raven, but I think that may have been because I had to discuss it not to long ago.

i did look up redemption -- it means - act of redeeming
redeem- 1. to recover (property) by discharging an obligation
2. to ransom, free, or rescue by paying a price (soul maybe?)
3. to free from the consequences of sin
4. to remove the obligation of by payment

by giving dictionary defs, i'm not making fun of anyone, just that i had a different interpetation for the word, i thought it meant a sort of curse.

In Adventchildren.net there's a translation, but it isn't very good... anyway, I think the song fits with 2 & 3. I repeat, I'm not sure if the translation is good, but more or less it says this:

"And the sorrow overflowing from the scar which can't be erased,

"I'll flap my broken wings and erase it all some day, you'll see,"

I said "he pushes down the darkness"; and it's maybe in order to be free of his sin, that scar. But I'm not sure. About what you say, praying a price (his soul)... I don't know, maybe, but in the end he has his soul again...

I've just found another mean of redemption: "To put an end (to finish) a pain or sorrow" ^O^ Ah! Another interesting thing is that he's lied down at the beginning, later he rises up and after lied down again...
Anyway, what I would like is he explaining it in some interview. I love when he explains this kind of things
