Yep, me too. Very light-sesitive...it's really dumb when pictures are taken...I always close my eyes automatically when the flash goes off...I wonder how Gackt keeps from doing that...and it was hard when I worked on the medieval markets...bright sunlight everywhere...I constantly had tears in my eyes and after a while it started to give me headaches...

Thats the same with one of my friends.. he always wore sunglasses that were tinted yellow, and then he got contacts that were a little shaded or something so he wouldn't have to wear the sunglasses

That´s really the cutest thing I heard from Gackt in a while … he´s really a special one. My feelings for Gackt are very conflicting often, as I have been dissapointed by some of the things he said in the past which made me loose some of my respect for him. Then, at other times, he says something like those things above, and they make me feel really warm for him and I can relate to this so much, to these statements above and I somehow see myself in him, as I am absolutely the same when I am in love, I do fall in love with people I occasionally meet, yet I would not talk to them about it but they would haunt me for a long time… and I do prefer the “studying each other´s hearts calmly” these days, as opposed to some years ago… it´s really strange, Gackt really pushes my feelings to the edge, as I guess only like-minded people can do, you would hate them in one second and love them in the other, and as much as you might hate them at one point, you´d be unable to leave them… haha, we talked about that before, how it would be if we met Gackt in real life and I could only repeat myself, it would be a catastrophe, we would push eachother´s buttons quite a lot and it would probably be just a matter of hours that we´d storm out of the room in different directions, arguing loudly … but still secretly we would kinda like eachother I guess …





I love his brown eyes, I wish he would show them more often, somehow these blue contacts give me the impression still that the “real Gackt” is hiding somewhere behind them… but of course I love his blue contacts too, they are a part of him these days and he does look very lovely with them... and btw, my eyes are so sensitive too, in the daytime I always blink, even when it´s raining, I can´t stand too much sunlight, it´s really painful sometimes, I guess I inherited that from my father ...


LOL! I have no idea what you´re talking about (Ice-Hockey?) but I feel for you… I know nothing about sports, the sport I care most about at the current Olympics is Curling … so relaxing ….

BTW Esti, I read some pages ago when I re-read the pages I missed in this thread, that you talked about Silent Hill 2…. I LOVE SILENT HILL!! and indeed SH2 is my favourite game ever ever … Pyramid Head, I did loose sleep because of that guy, at the moment I am replaying SH3 though….

Yes, it is. I do think some of the things he said about women are hardly agreeable and it´s hard for me respecting someone who says things like those, be it Gackt or anyone. I do respect and love him for many other things, but not for some of his voiced opinions towards women. I liked the last interview though, because we all know that he´s a sweeter guy than he sometimes appears as and I´d wish he´d let out that sweet guy more often ...

I do agree with Lent, some of the things he's said in the past about women arent 100% respectful. But he obviously thinks a bit differently now, which is sweet and good for him.

^ The things we were talking about are mostly from a magazine, I'm not sure but I think it was from 2005 (?). I don't think he changes his opinions from disrespectful to sweet in less of a year


Oh, I read that they will be adapting Silent Hill 1 after all, replacing Harry for that woman. They gave the reasons for it ^__^ For example... I remember they said they can't tell the SH2's story without tell before why Silent Hill is this way

Yeah, Obscure Sin, I know exactly what you mean ... and btw, my name is Bianca ... and I was mostly thinking of the PatiPati 100 questions from 2001 and his 2005 interview. We know he can´t change his opinions in less than a year (given that those things he issued have ever really been his opinions and were not just short outbursts of male chauvinism) but I do think he learned to voice his opinions a little more diplomatic and more heartfelt as it seems, and I do think they sound much sweeter than some statements he made before^^...


The story the movie tells is a little different to SH1, in SH1 the girl came to Silent Hill on a holiday, not to find a cure for sickness and such and there was a twist to the story as the girl´s mother had just died some time before. And Pyramid Head for instance wasn´t in SH1, only in SH2 which is independent storywise, just like SH4. Only Part 1 and 3 belong together storywise. And there seem to be even some visual effects in the movie taken from SH3 and SH4, so at least enemywise and visually it will be a mixture of all which is great news, although I do like SH1 and SH2 the most .
