Strange indeed. Somtimes I really ask myself why we dream such strange things...and some dreams are nothing but scary. Like last year I wanted to go to church to light a candle for Kami but I forgot...that night I dreamt of him...I met him in a street in that dream and he looked at me with such a sad face then turned around and went away.

Wah, Squall! ... he was (and is) in fact the first and only game character that I positively had a crush on. I love Squall... I could go on ranting about my favourite scenes out of FF8 involving Squall, but I wouldn´t be finished in hours and I gotta go to bed ... as I mentioned before, I always hated the fact that there would never be a real life Squall after I played the game for the first time... and then I stumbled upon Gackt ...

I remember when I played FFVIII. It was one of my gifts for my boyfriend, though in the end I was more hooked on it than him And I absolutely "falled in love" with Squall, I really like that character (I'm still have a poster of him on my wall). There I was... 16 ^O^
I never thought of looking for a "real life" Squall really... And later when I was 22 I discovered Gackt, in who Squall is based on... and who is infinite times better than any videogame character ^___^ Yeah Gakuto you're even better than Solid Snake!! Oficially only the character from Bujingai and the one from FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus are based on him. But you can see the resemblance between Gackt and Squall ne? Tetsuya Nomura is the designer of FF VII, VIII and FF X (If I'm not mistaken) and he's fan of Gackt, he liked Gackt from his Malice Mizer time. I have a clip where Gackt holds a Squall doll and says something similar to "This is me" ^__^ Besides... Long since I posted some screens from Cloud in Advent Children, and damn he's Gackt Besides also in the movie Tifa says certain words about Cloud that are almost "property" of Gackt

Has anybody realized that Gackt is actually pretty short? I mean his profile says he's 5'11 but if Ayumi can stand next to gackt without looking like a shrimp, I think Gackt must be like 5'7 or 5'8. I'm not trying to offend any gackt fans... just trying to point something out.

ayumi's 5'1.5 with heels she should gain a max of 3-4 inches. Thus she should be standing about 5'5 next to him. Add the 4 inche gap between the two... that would make Gackt about 5'9. Sorries... I'm a height analyzer... i'm very obssessive. Plus Namie Amuro is 5'2 on her profile and in one of the talk shows where gackt teaches Drunken Fist kung fu, Namie is practically near his height with high heels.

Yep, exactly. I too have a thing for archers...I do a little archery myself, started that when I was working on several medieval markets during the summer. I have a very old bow my mother gave me...I rarely use it for shooting but it's nice to pose with.

Well, it went like this. I posted that they should wish me luck with something reeeeally important that's Diru related. Then one girl posted "Why do I get the feeling this is about an interview with Diru?"
Well...maybe I should have kept quiet...but I replied, confirming that it indees was about an interview.
Next reply was something like "Oh we're all looking forward to that, aren't we? *ironic*"
I defended myself saying that this was a very serious thing for me and that it isn't just a fangirl thing and that I had hoped for a little support. And I said that I had originally planned to ask THEM what they want to know about/from Diru.
That was when those postings came saying I couldn't handle criticism and that I must be of very low self esteem.

Actually in the meantime I recieved a PM from one who read the thread and told me she totally supports me and wants to help. *hugs her*



Yep, she's a little better now. We figured that we both had a light case of food poisoning (it was worse with her)...but she's still in the middle of recovering.

Are you sure about that? I don`t really see the similarities between Squall & Gackt. I heard that Squall was modeled after River Phoenix & I was pretty sure it was confirmed in an interview about it.

What I would like to know is why those are your favourite songs. Is there a story behind it?

Fragrance was one of the first songs I ever heard of Gackt. And Kagen was the first live I saw...well, the images of him with that lucky mic stand never left me...the sensuality of it...

Why I like Sakai~Story~ so much is a similar story. When I saw him singing it at the end of the 2004-live...*sigh*...and until then I had only known the instrumental version of it. Afterwards I started looking for the song...it took me quite a while until I got my hands on the CD.

The other three are a little more difficult to explain...those are songs that just raise strong emotions inside of me every time I listen to them.
