Yup, me too. Have never been one of the bullies nor one of the bullied ones. I have seen people being bullied though and it wasn´t nice. Somehow people were even mad at me at times for wanting to protect those who were bullied. That was really bad and it taught me a lesson never to change or hide myself just to belong to a group. And I think I developed a good sense of justice throughout that.

I don´t know.... I think ( or I hope) Gackt wouldn´t mind people like that too much (which is good) because he knows he can´t take stupid people like that seriously.
As for being a Dear, what Esti mentioned, I don´t think people like that really consider themselves Dears. At least I hope not. I consider myself a Dear, although I criticise some of Gackt´s statements that I feel inappropriate for instance. Being a Dear to someone (generally speaking) is not about following that person 100 % and obiding his/her words like he/she was a god I think. If you consider yourself a Dear to someone, it´s because that person has something that you share, a view of life, a thought, a heart, whatever. It´s more like taking ideas of that person and transporting them somewhere else, like one occasionally does in close friendships where you keep inspiring eachother. I highly respect Gakutos idea of being a moon for people for instance. I decided a longer time ago to be my own moon, but just for reassuring me about that, Gakuto earns my honest thanks and I will be eternally be a "Dear" because of that, whatever that means. I appreciate his efforts in writing and I take this as a further motivation to pursue my own path as an aspiring writer, things like that. I wrote my thoughts and thanks for that on the Dears site once and I think I Gackt does appreciate such things and that´s what being a moon is about I guess. Reassuring others to be a moon themselves. What these people do on the fake livejournals is just a sad attempt to gain attention, maybe they have nothing of themselves to give. Don´t be worried because of them. They will get bored and go away sooner or later and find themselves another playground.

When ever I come across those websites, or nasty comments I always laugh. I've found sites against Gackt (and other artists that I like) and I always find it interesting that people would invest so much time in something they don't like. Personaly if there is something/someone I dislike that much then I stay away from it.

Haha, it was the opposite for me over Spring Break. I made a decisison to stay away from the computer and made sure I was busy. It only resulted in my friend thinking I had run away or something.
Your lucky you can get your friend to go to a karaoke place with. I finally found a place here that I want to go to, but none of my friends want to go becasue they are afraid they will embarass themselves (even though thats half the fun)

A great thing happened last night. My best friend Stephanie came on MSN last night and instead of saying hi she said "I hate you". I asked why and she said "because of you I'm like obsessed with Gackt, pics, music everything" I just sat here for about 3 minuets looking at the screen with the biggest grin on my face. I said "Steph I have one thing to say...I WIN!!"
I asked her what songs she has downloaded and she has one song off of every cd, except Rebirth. I told her that and she was very proud of herself. Now I get to supply her with music and introduce her to other bands. Now she'll really love going to Japan with me.

Some news on my mission to "spread the Gackt love". Today I got aPM from one of my good friends over at the other forum where I just recently started my little quiz. She doesn't read that thread but another one whaere I'm drooling over Gakuto all the time...well anyway, she PMed me and asked me which one of Gackuto's albums I'd recommend for someone who has never listened to his music before. I was like and asked her why she was asking and she admitted that all my telling stuff about him and drooling over him made her curious and she wants to listen to his music now.

She just recently was introduced to anime (nemaly Sayuki, and she's absolutely in love with it ), so I'm curious now what she will say to Gakuto's music when she has listened to some. I will burn a CD for her and give her some extra-information along, like lyric-translations and stuff.

I can tell you the exact date, I will never forget it, because it was a special day for me.

I was inroduced to his music on October 23rd 2004. It was the day of our first local cosplay-gathering. A good friend of mine (well she is now, I met her for the first time that day) had her portable CD-player with her and gave it to me. One of the first songs I heard was "Mizérable". I asked her who that singer is and she told me. When I came home I turned on my comp and did a little research. Typed "Gackt" into google for the first time...and instantly fell in love.

For me it's been two and a half years. My cousin sent me a picture of Malice Mizer and told be about how he thought Mana was hot, and then he found out that he was in fact a guy. That really freaked him out, then he started sending me music (Illuminati and Syunikiss were my first two Japanese songs) and I said I loved the vocalists voice. And he said "Really!? Well he's gone solo I'll send you his stuff too"
About 3 months after that I took matters into my own hands and searched him on the net and found out how breath taking he was, even though that wouldn't have mattered becasue I was already loving the music.

Hmm let's see..I was introduced to Gackt 2 1/2 years ago by this Korean guy in my grade who had a picture of him in his binder and was a huge fan, always talking about how sexy he was and always singing his songs off-key in the hallway. He showed me a picture (where gackt looks rEALLY feminine) but I didn't make the connection that mister Sexy Vanilla was the man on the binder, so I guessed that it was a girl. Then the boy laughed and told me I was wrong, and kept going on about how great Gackt was..so obviously I had to go home and get a random song (7th Night-Kimi No Tameni Dekiru Koto, but I didn't know the title when I got the song it was like ????) and I absolutely fell in LOVE with Gackt's voice...love at first..listening. So I played that song on repeat every day for months before I told my best friend about it, and then she gave me two of HER Gackt songs (Ash and Hoshi No Suna)...which got the full obsession rolling. I read his autobiography, watched his tv appearances and PV's, and downloaded and bought as much of his music as I could. His looks didn't really appeal to me at first, but they have definitely grown on me and his personality helps as well..now I see him as pretty close to perfect in every way But the main thing is that he has my undying respect--He is brilliant, talented, and at the top of his field. (I love men like that in general BEFORE him, so Gackt fit perfectly!) Gah that was a long spam-esque story >.< I tend to go on like that haven't you noticed?!


Lol this is random..(or perhaps they planned it this way?) But doesn't Gackt look like Jesus, or a powerful Guardian angel with the heavenly light shining behind his form and his calm regal expression..

Ever since I first started playing FFVIII, and my sister informed me that Squall is based on a Japanese person. I was so excited to know who he was since Squall is so cute ^^ That was when I was in JHS so more than 4 years ago.
