You know, normally I would definitely agree with you here, it´s always admirable when someone uses his full energy to achieve something... it´s only that I worry about certain things, maybe I have no reason to do so but still .... You know, Gackt reminds me of someone sometimes, there was a very famous Hong Kong singer and actor whom I liked very much some time ago. Gackt reminds me of him because that artist also was a very determined and perfectionistic person who always gave everything in his performances, he cried in his concerts and such... that guy killed himself in 2003. It was later published that he suffered from clinical depression because of too much stress and emotional exhaustion. So that´s why I do worry and I don´t find it very funny to see gravestones of Gackt with the 2007 engraved... Although it is admirable to see him do what he does everyday, I´d rather see him take it all a little slower sometimes ...




Agreed ... I don´t know why people stop by here to say that he looks so and so feminine... as if it was a bad thing and as if I cared about that ... I find it admirable that he´s able to convey the beauty of a man and a women and I love it that normally people in this thread don´t even care... in his femininity I often find him the most masculine and vice versa... I mean, he´s Gackt! ... He is everything that he wants to be and maybe that´s the most sexy thing about him ...

Umm yep, I feel more closer to that too, and sometimes I think I would like to be born in Japan; but I also think that I like what has happened to me here, and if I can't understand Japanese, I'll learn it (like I'm doing, and you as well ), and if I want to go to Japan, I'll go there ^___^ You know, sometimes I think that if I was born there, I wouldn't appreciate so much a lot of things. I'm sure that a lot of people see in your country more wonderful things than you, (and in my case too), but we're here and we pay more attention to things which are far away. Besides, right now I love Gackt, but this is the result of certain circumstances. Who knows? Maybe if I was born in other place, or in other moment, I wouldn't like Gackt (for example). I got my own website for Leslie, that´s how I got to know most of my asian friends and some of them I met this September when I went to Hong Kong... if Gackt is "my" moon I guess you could say that Leslie is "my" sun, haha... of course musicwise they´re very different but I know, that feeling on stage which you described, how emotional their performances are, very similar.... and of course the androgynity/bisexual thing ... Yeah, going to Japan is not that easy. Japan is very expensive to live in and of course to get a visa you need a job. I´d love to go there too after I finished university but I guess going directly to Japan would be very difficult, so I guess I´d try HK first because I know some people there. And from HK it´s not that far to Japan . I did fear about not succeeding too and having to return home when I first had the idea of going away but I don´t worry about that anymore, at least not at the moment. I mean, if you don´t try you cannot succeed and I can´t do more than trying. So if I´d need to return home at least I tried, you know?…. I started studying late, with 27, I hope I´m finished soon so that I can go some place else… one thing Gackt definitely reminded me of is that it´s important to live life to the fullest so I wanna try as much as possible …



Yeah, I know! … but you know, after Leslie´s death I am very glad that I know Gackt and …. well, that he´s alive and hopefully will take good care of himself… and yup, I can send you a clip but I am at work at the moment, can do so later when I am home …

I started studying when I was nineteen (boy...so long ago...) but I had to take a break of more than two years because of my illness (I'm a diabetic)...so I'm still at it now, but I hope I can finish soon. Through my illness I learned to live everyday to the fullest...it can be over sooner than you think...



I'm learning japanese for three years now and I still have a long way to go. When I fly to japan next year it'll be the first challenge of my language skills...

One of the things my German teacher told me was that once you actually go to the place and are surrounded by the language it becomes easier to speak and understand.

I really want to learn Japanese, but I'm going to have to wait until I'm done high school. After that I'm going to Japan to learn Japanese. I think I'm going to go for one month, just to see what it's like and if it's a place for me to be. Thats the one thing I'm afraid of, is going to Japan and feeling completly lost. A friend of mine told me not to worry and said that Japanese people would like me just because I'm Canadian ( ). I'm sorta listening to what he's saying though because he's Japanese.

I'm white too! XD Technically, I have a good amount of Native American in me too, but I don't think that makes a difference to most people, for some reason.

Hehe your welcome. Its strange because most of my close friend are asian (mainly Chinese) and they always bug me about being the "little white girl". There's a picture that I have and its a few of the girls and me. I labeled it "It's like Where's Waldo, except easy"

I got pictures like that from my stay in HK, surrounded by chinese folks and little me in the middle ... although everybody always tells me I look more spanish or italian than german because I got dark hair and eyes... but I said that numerous times, I would like to be asian too, at least a little bit, I find my european features plain and a little boring... and I´d love to look the way I feel, haha ....

My feature on japanese music will probably go on air in january as first of many music-specials. And I get a whole hour of airtime!
