I really like the casts, i can see kirsten steward as bella and robert as edward.
From the beginning i recognize those two but didn't really know where i have seen them but now i know. Kirsten played jodie foster's daughter in panic room and robert pattison was in the 4th harry potter movie.

I'm VERY, VERY disappointed with the casting of Rosalie and Carlisle. Dammit, I hear Nikki Reed was casted as Rosalie because of connection to the director !!!!!!! Carlisle, I dunno because he's supposed to be in his early 20's and really HOT? This isn't confirmed news yet because it hasn't been in Twilight Lexicon or SM's site (although Carlisle's casting is)
I like rest of the women though. Alice is very beautiful and if she chopped her locks, it would be perfect.

UH JaeJoong? No way Jose! I'm sorry but Edward is not for him in fact (I don't hate him but doesn't work!), I think Edward is too blurry to picture (although for me it's Gaspard Ulliel or Tom Sturridge) because you can't image a person that perfect.

Anyways I'm still pissed about the Rosalie casting with Nikki. I heard she's part native so why couldn't they make her Emily ? That would've been a LOT more appealing in terms of physical appearance !

My ideal Rosalie is also blurred because she's a beautiful woman and from Bella's view, it was either Rosalie or Edward that was the most gorgeous and Nikki's more "HOT" than beautiful. I mean if Ashley Greene is Alice, then Rosalie's was supposed to be beyond that beauty.

Okay, I've decided I will believe some of the castings that I'm doubtful of as soon as Summit ent. and Stephenie's site announces the news (although it'll probably be true )

I just don't get it! Stephenie said that when she met Catherine Hardwicke, she had one condition for the movie to be as close to her story but it's just if Catherine really did understand, the cast wouldn't turn out like this. Good God I feel like a selfish pinkberry but in all honesty, fans may have more insight too who the characters should be although they may know more about actors but the essential key was their looks and it seems like they are making the movie LOOSELY BASED ON and won't stick to the novel.

I'll try to be open minded but I cannot make guarentees .

The pictures that they posted of the cast are not flattering at all.
My friend sent me the same pictures and I didn't really like them much.

Anyways, I just saw the casting picks on ONTD and I agree with like half of the choices. Esme, Carlisle, Victoria for shizzles. Funny thing is I was just watching Bones today and I saw the girl who's going to play Victoria, and I knew she looked extremely familiar so I IMDB'd her and SHE WAS ON BIG WOLF ON CAMPUS! Who totally remembers that? Or is it just me? LOL Anyways, she is extremely pretty and I absolutely love her red hair and pale complexion. It's amazing.

As for who's playing Alice and Rosalie...yeah, I don't know. The girl playing Alice looks pretty good, but at some level, I think I'll always have Rachel Leigh Cook as my ideal Alice lol. and Rosalie? Sorry, even if she was to dye her hair white blonde, I don't think she'll pull off Rosalie's character. Cause isn't Rosalie suppose to be strikingly beautiful, goddess like? I could be wrong, but if I'm not, then yea, Nikki Reed doesn't hold a candle to what Rosalie is suppose to look like (according to the book descriptions lol) And to hear (although not yet confirmed) that she was chosen to be Rosalie cause of her connection with the director or whomever, doesn't really give her that much credit either. Thumbs down on that picking. I know it's wrong of me to judge her before the movie even comes out, and I really should give her the benefit of the doubt, but right now, thats really hard to do. Maybe once I see the movie, I'll retract my comment lol

Robert is handsome! I know many people don't see it, but I still think he's going to be great.

Maybe I have "low standards" compared to some, but I think the girl who's chosen to play Rosalie is pretty! Just dye her hair/eyebrows(Also, some good acting ability. Nothing less flattering in a movie than an actress who can't act. ).
