I was planning on showing some Christmas movies to my students right before the winter break. So I was curious what other people's favorite christmas movies were? I wanted to show Charlie Brown or Frosty the Snowman since I always loved it growing up, but it looks like things have changed in the past 16~17 years...lol. The kids don't seem to really enjoy the classics. They're all asking for Spongebob.

It depends how old your students are. What grade do you teach? Classics are good. I'd go for:
A Charlie Brown Christmas
A Christmas Story (funny)
The Muppet Christmas Carol
kkkkk

home alone, a classic! my family totally loves it b.c it was filmed in chicago and at o'hare, so every time we watch it we're like "i've been there! and there! and there!" hahaha
elf is also really good, and it's PG so pretty much anyone can watch it; it's cheesy and the script is kind of annoying, but i think will ferrell pulls it off so that it's not as grating on your nerves. haha and you gotta love it when he tells santa "you sit on a throne of LIES!!"
and um, i don't like these movies but my younger cousins love them,
the santa clause (tim allen),
jingle all the way (arnold schwarzeneggaraweroi3hraksghwhatever),
miracle on 34th street (mara wilson). ok that last one is an oldie but goodie, i guess
