A young woman named Jane played by Katherine Heigl (Knocked Up) who has made a career out of being a bridesmaid but never a bride faces her worst nightmare when her sister (Malin Åkerman) becomes engaged to the man of her dreams. Luckily, the wedding brings around the man,Kevin played by James Marsden (Hairspray) who will change her bridesmaid status for good.

OMG when i saw James Marsden in this i bugged out b/c i love his all american face!! ><! jeez even my mom says he is handsome! ( i don't know if that is a good thing or not..) the story plot seems promising so i am PSYCH'd do see this! and also the people who created Devil Wears Prada are the ones making this film! awesome!

i saw the trailer for this movie today and i'm looking forward to seeing it. i personally can't stand katherine heigl, but james marsden is amazing. i hate the fact that he pretty much never gets the girl (superman, enchanted, the notebook), but i'm hoping this movie will change that! and GAH he's so handsome :]

But man, it proved me wrong.
Ok yeah, it was a typical romantic chick flick - but I still loved it.
The cast was great and fabulous =)
I like this way better than Devil Wears Prada.

I just got back from watching it and I have to say it is much more than what I expected it to be. The two leads were great, had great chemistry and delivered their performances well. It was funny, it was sweet, and it was the typical cliche chick flick but it was great! I'd definitely watch it again and will buy it when out on dvd.

if u r into cliche romantic comedy flicks, i definitely recommend it...james m really stood out in this movie..im glad he finally got the girl in the end..

it was better than i thought
because you know how sometimes in movie trailers, they pack it in with all the good scenes of the movie? and then when you come around to watch it, there are no funny bits kinda thing?
well 27 dresses had a lot of great scenes that werent shown in the trailer

just watched the movie..ehhe i really like it..it's very predictable...but i still <3 it .e.hehehe it was exactly how i would imagin it.ehheehehe

my mom said not to watch it coz she read the reviews and they all seem to say 'skip it'
but i liked it my heart went out to Jane and a seriously wanted to bleep-slap her obnoxious sister

This chick flick is FAB! One of the most enjoyable ones that I've seen in a looooong time. James was adorable and Katherine was awesome. Chick flick lovers, it's a must see!

I just came back from watching this.

I have never seen a movie that was such a chick-flick.
Its sweet but not the kind of movie I'd see more than once.

The actors did great and I loved the design of the ending credits and the whole idea. But I think it was just too light-hearted for me =x
