Hey guys, i currently need songs about issue around the world, such as proverty, abuse
war, world enviroment etc etc.
It is a vocals project, and i am presenting next week, and i still have no song.
So any english songs that are simple, or just any songs at all
would be alot of help.

I know of a lot of hip hop songs like that, but I don't think they'd qualify as "simple." (Lots of 2pac's songs, Eyedea's "Bottle Dreams," Immortal Technique's "Peruvian Cocaine," Ludacris's "Runaway Love..." The list goes on...)
The other day I discovered the song "Pearls" by Sade, though, and I think that matches your description.
