PLEASE READ OR ANSWER.

okay so i checked my email, and I noticed someone send me a mail and it said JYP Tour in Los Angeles - March 8, 2008‏. And the sender is Korean Music Festival (hollywoodbowl@koreatimes.com).

and there was a poster showing the artist that will be attending. so does that mean that the tickets I brought weren't for hollywood bowl in May? And I brought it from koreanmusicfestival.com

No, it's just a listserve thing that KMF probably sends to all members of the site. wink.gif
You're okay. I got it too, and there's nothing saying that i bought them.
It's just a way of letting us members know of what's coming. smile.gif

But omg, the list is coming out in about one month!! tongue.gif tongue.gif
I'm sooo excited!! still have to plan my route... though i'm sure i'll be amtrak-ing everywhere.
I don't mind either, it's quite fun. =PP

Yay!! I hope the soompi-meet list is growing!! =DD

QUESTION!
I was just about to order two terrace tickets (TB06) from koreanmusicfestival.com. I have an account and everything but when I chose 2 tickets and clicked Select, and chose the LA Korea Newspaper center as the pick-up destination, I didn't know where to go from there so I clicked Select, and it just directed me back to the ticket page! Plus, when I go to "View Cart" or Order History, there's nothing there and so my payment-value was $0.00! T_T
And now, when I try to order it again it keeps saying "Please choose another seat!" or something.
What did i do wrong?! tears.gif

The phone numbers aren't even picking up at this hour. T_T. Oh dear...

Any suggestions?

The www.koreanmusicfestival.com site is just messed up from day one, to actually try to purchase a ticket you had/have to buy the whole bundle to get it go through... most says koreatimes did it on purpose, but who know.

it has to be on purpose b/c i ordered through the phone at the time, and that guy told me you have to buy seats in groups of four for the garden boxes huh.gif

which is stupid IMO sleep.gif

I'll be flying in if I decided to go to HB. But the thing is Cal is pretty much an unknown land to me. I never really been there. Only place I ever went to is Anaheim for a convention and that's it.
I was wondering, since KT won't mail out ticket (why can't we pay for the postage and they sent it to us, those that lived outside of Cal. >.<), how far is the closest KT office to HB, where you pick up
the ticket? And where is this venue place KT talked about in their FAQ? I just wanted to know so that I don't have to feel lost and run around looking for my ticket in a city I am not familiar with.
I haven't bought a ticket yet. Still considering and was hoping the Super Seat didn't sold out before the Artist list is out in sometime, March. But, I would like to be prepared when the time comes.
I would appreciate anyone helping me, making this trip less stressful for me to plan. smile.gif

Btw, I saw the two screens HB mentioned they have on the side for those that sit far away so they can watch. It's so small. (O_o) It's like watching a 32" TV from 200ft away. (Maybe it's just looks
small in the picture taken from where those sitting area is?) Is it really that small in person? For those that's been to HB?

Lastly, I'm sorry if many of my questions are repeat questions from some 10+ pages back. Thanks. smile.gif

I think it's because they're afraid that the tickets will get lost/stolen in the mail~
IMO, it's best to just pick up your ticket on the day of the concert @ the concert venue :]
It's practically... hassle-free? Aahah.
Hm, I'm not sure what you mean by "venue place"...
are you asking about Will Call?
If yes, it's a booth they set up, right before the entrance of the hollywood bowl.
That's where you'd be picking up your ticket on the day of the concert.

Ah. Yes, the Will Call booth (venue) is what I was talking about.
Now, this make it so much easier for me. I don't have to run around looking for a KT place. ^^
Yay~!! Thank you both for replying. *Can't wait till the list is out X3*

Oh, another question (or two). Just curious, is there anything else beside the concert? Like an after meeting with the artists
after the concert ended, or do we just get kicked out as soon as it's over? ^^ And do they have merchandise booth?
Sorry, and thanks. ^^

I hope it's not brochures, flyers or catalog books advertising a new store, or the likes. tongue.gif
I mean, free goodies is always advertisement of some sorts, but I wouldn't call flyers and brochures goodies.
It's nice, but rolleyes.gif it's not something I would keep unless I'm attracted to it.

Haha if it is, its the companys dirty tactic in trying to get all the tickets sold.....

I don't think it is dirty tactics. That's how it's always been from the very first Concert back in 2002.

The garden seats and terrace seats are arranged in boxes. Meaning the seating is like a little family outing. There are tables where you can eat on.

Hollywood bowl concerts are usually created for families to enjoy outdoor concerts, so the garden and terrace seats are designed that way.

I do think it does have flaws for having the garden and terrace seats be bought in groups of 4 or more, but that's how it's been from the beginning. SO I would agree that it does help sell those seats as well as having people set together as a family or friends.

I was told you can buy in 2 now, so I guess that helps. The buddy system always works.
hankyung<3
No...you can buy a minimum of 2...which is what i did

I called them and asked for one tickety and they said no so i asked for 2 and they said that's fine...you just won't have your own box, you'll share it with another pair or group

They give away flyers, brochures, those long balloons that you can tap together to make a clacking sound, tote bags, glow sticks, Korean tea in a bottle, kimchi in a bottle, pens, infaltable balloons, and a bunch of other stuff, including the posters of different celebrities posted along the walls that eventually disappear by the time you leave the concert because people steal take them home. smile.gif

Yep ;]!! Some do hehe!
Some people were actually lucky enough
to spot a few of them
walking around malls and eating in restaurants D;
Hopefully I'll find some artists this year ^^!

So, they're not going to be selling concert merchandise ? Like for example .. a T-shirt made especially for Hollywood Bowl ? Or, lightsticks for your favorite artists ?

Aww~(X___x) ....seem like my fear came true.
This is getting more depressing by the minute.
Well, can't expect too much from a concert anyhow.
I'll keep my expectation low and enjoy it as it goes. smile.gif
