i think yoon hyung joo came last year. i remember him cus he played songs i vaguely remembered from my childhood. haha
i actually enjoyed his portion of hb last year. it was fun

and 100+ are disappointed cause we don't know them and they are old singers...

I'm happy with the list ^__^ even though I've never heard of them, Mr. "Godfather of Krock"'s first and maybe only performance in the US- pretty historical, no?

As for the other two, I thoroughly enjoyed all the performances that made it onto the MBC broadcast last year, so if they were there, then I like them ^__^

Please don't be disappointed that your favorite idols aren't on the list! These performers are respectable and deserve comments that are better than "ughhh it's not DBSK!!!11!!" If DBSK is coming, they'll announce it, and at that time I'll squeal along with the rest of you.

Not a personal comment to anyone in particular, but just keep that in mind~

This concert is not geared only to the younger generation. Of course they're going to have older artists performing.
Instead of being all negative about it, take this as a good opportunity to see what the older generation of singers are like.
Anyways, usually the bigger named artists are announced last.

i agree. i know most of you are disappointed but this isn't just a concert for the young people. many adults come as well. have some respect. im lookin forward to the godfather of rock. i love rock. haha.

p.s. I'm only saying this cause I've always wanted to go to HB but couldn't afford it. my brother is like, using his work money to let me go. I'm not working so I can't do anything...but yeah, so for him to go to a concert that he's not interested in, i feel really bad...I'm not saying that the older generations aren't interesting, they're only uninteresting to my brother's eyes. I'm not trying to offend, please don't take it the wrong way everyone?

As for me, I think it would be interesting, since it's the godfather of k-rock? sounds interesting...and its possible that he might not be performing at the states anymore? that's kind of saddening..I'm sure it is depressing for those that love those artists...
anyways, I'm still looking forward to the concert since I really wanted to see suju...

It's kinda sad.
I remember last year, during the performances of these older artists, so many people left to go get food/bathroom/etc. & there were barely anyone paying attention to these artists.
They weren't too bad - some of them were pretty entertaining.
& it's not very realistic to expect every single one of your favorite artists on the list (i'm assuming that most people here like the younger artists judging by the comments), since the KMF prides themselves on having a "concert for all generations."

I agree!~ Don't be so immature guys. D: I felt really bad for the older singers....everyone was pretending that they werent even there while they were singing. I enjoyed many of the older singers. ^^ The only time I left was during Tae Jin Ah because I was starving to death... but yeah. Besides, Godfather of rock? XD Thats a big deal for many people.

Just respect the artists and enjoy the music yooo.

I actually liked some of the older artists last year... Tae Jin Ah vs. Song Dae Kwan And there was this one older rocker woman who was really good (my friends and I were staring at each other, like "whoa she can sing"), I forget her name though

My first time at the bowl last year bcuz I wanted to see my favorite - FLY TO THE SKY. Not knowing any of the other artists. Turns out I enjoyed all the performers, young or old, and all genres. I hope people will at least show some respects to other artists other than their favorites......

reality check: the majority of the people who are attending are korean-paying for the ticket-PARENTS and grandpeople and their children. they'd be bored out of their mind if only wondergirls and suju-t would be coming.

and they can't hire EVERYONE to come. or the korea times would be broke. so be happy that we didn't get some no-namer that NO ONE likes.
