My Prom is just a couple of months away and I'm really trying to look for that perfect dress!
Can anyone just post pictures of their prom dresses or prom dresses that they like and would recommend? THANKS

my advice is to look on ebay because they have nice dresses, if you got to a shop around town, other girls in your school will probably end up with the same dress
when you buy the dresses online make sure to ask about the exact size of the dresses like measurements and stuff
i found my prom dress and I went to Santa Ana just to find it. Luckily my school is in Westminster so most likely no other girls will have the dress

i got a dress similar to the ones you posted at JC penny's last year.
it really does feel and look like a wedding dress..
i took pictures with my date and it was a little weird.
(i'm on the one on the left)

you should try a diff. color
i have a question:
i've always had the idea that you're supposed to wear a long dress to prom/ball,
and short dresses to homecoming dances.
is this true?

This was my prom dress.

I bought it before I gained another ten pounds.
And couldn't fit it as nicely.

I loved the beading on the dress.
It was totally affordable. About a hundred.

From my homecoming experience, and surfing the net, it is typical that most people will wear short dresses to homecoming as it's more of a casual dance, while prom is fancy and important. You're not "supposed to", but long dresses look more elegant, while short dresses look party-like, and more for a fun and rowdy dance party.

I love that dress! It's so cute<3 But it doesn't seem prom-ish. I really love that dress though. >0< And I think a lot of people order their prom dresses online. But yeah, the risk is that you can't really feel the material and feel the fit personally.
asianbebe: Cute dress! Nice and poofy hehe. ^__^;
v LOL, that's an awesome idea. I'd love to see pictures!

^I really like the second one from the bottom XD
but why wear a dress? hehe I wore a suit to prom, just made a few changes, instead of a blouse I chose a corset, and I got a fedora hat to match, add a blazer & heels.
got a lot of "I envy you for not wearing a dress" compliments ahaha.
but if you do choose a dress, don't go for the typical 'totally-prom-looking' dresses (ie poofy princess skirt bottoms, and shiny colors)..go for something more elegant or different.
