You can always make your prom dress. It won't cost that much to make it. All you have to do is find a picture of a dress you like and buy the color fabrics you want then bring it to a seamstress or a tailor. I got my junior prom dress made for $125 and I bought my fabrics for less $30. I spent less than most of my friends who bought their dresses. No one had the same color dress as me nor did anyone had the same style as me.

you look really great in this dress. i think girls with a tan (like you) should wear lighter colors so the dress will stand out more just like hair. best for pale girls are to keep their hair dark so eyebrows and eyes will stand out more instead of everythings blended together (my mom said i blended in with my light brown hair and i agree as i look through pics of me w/ dark hair)

i actually say make your own dress or buy a good dress yet cheap price, change it up a bit. this girl i know for her senior prom, theme was escape to the orient, they rented asian american cultural center but i went to a WHITe high school so all the asians are like o.O WTF? so yeah.. she either bought a chinese gown (like the traditional ones for new years) or from what i heard her mom made the chinese dress. its like the chiense gown cept its open back and by belly area is cross strapped. so she looked stunning in that dress.

ah the return of the prom dress thread. but the only thing about prom i've been thinking of yet is a date.
