Is it just me or when I go to other schools' prom/ball, I have a better time compared to my stressful senior ball? I wore a short dress to this ball and I had a wonderful time compared to my ball, especially since it was way easier dancing in a short dress. So girls having a short dress might not be so bad.

you shouldn't worry about the length too much, unless, you're worried someone is going to step on it.
if you're going to be on the dance floor most of the time, i suggest the bubble dress.

If you alter the first dress to knee length I can just imagine it looking like a night slip or lingerie. Imo it would look better as is (esp for the price you would probably pay for it)

ok i am officially in love. i just happen to go to nordstrom.com to see if they have any new dresses, and immeidiatley i came upon this!!! i think i have officially found my prom dress! now the problem is, will it fit and will it look good on me. grr i'm short and chubby so i'm not sure how its going to work but gahh. its BCBG and less than 500.00!!! ahh i hope this dress works out for me. hopefully i can get myself to nordstrom to try it on soon

anyway, prom is going to be held in the same place as junior, which is kinda poo, but nearly everyone will be wearing short dresses, seeing as the location isnt that glamourous when you've visited it already and seen how crap it is lol

but i'm not sure, though cos i'm quite short at 5"2 with not the most slender of figures also quite broad-shouldered due to my past swimming days
