This discussion came up in class.
And I didn't think about it until someone mentioned about their old "imaginary friend".

I remember when I was 5-8, I...=Sigh= had an imaginary friend.
Ahaha, I laughed so much when I thought about it today in class.
I imagined him to be a small boy, who was my age at the time.
Brown hair, light skin and a nice smile.
I called him Billy. LOL! I can't believe I still remmeber the name.

I remember during my "play time"s, I talked to him a lot.
And my parents & grandma often asked me who I was talking to.
I told them "My friend, Billy. He's over there -see?"
And I would point at an empty space.
My parents thought I was nuts! LOL!

LOl yeah i used to have an imaginary friend when i was really younger. i forgot her name though but she was like a princess and my best friend hahahaaa.

I remember thinking kids with imaginary friends were freaks.

I didn't have one. I saw a lot of tv shows that always had kids with imaginary friends so I did try to create them as a kid, but I was never able to follow through since it was imaginary and was empty space. So then I realized it was probably a tv thing and real kids don't have imaginary friends.

But then as a kid I was pretty rational and I was too active with way too many interests to waste time to believe in an imaginary friend.

no, but i did play by myself since i was the only daughter, and had older brothers who wasnt into what i liked...

the other day i just watched a movie called the orphanage and the little boy in there made imaginary friends and it was freaky, they turned out to be the little kids that died in the house and they were haunting that place...
so i think it'll be really freaky if i saw a kid having a imaginary friend...

I been having an imaginary friends when I was alittle to when I'm 9 years old, and then I stop because my friends was calling me "freak". But I don't see anything wrong with having an imaginary friends. Just for fun? =P

yeah, his name was hooloo and then i made up a female for him named cooloo and they had powers of teleportation!

i loved to role-play, but i felt stupid when i tried to pretend i had an imaginary friend.
i was six at the time. i couldn't bring myself to talk to an empty space. :'(

never had one i ALWAYS wanted one though, so badly. so instead i just talked to myself in place of having an imaginary friend.. i still talk to myself today.

AND YAHHHHHHHHH... i'll always talk to myself (normally in my head -____-) & pretend i'm talking to someone else... like when i got my haircut i'd imagine someone asking me about it ... and then i made up this whole dialogue in mando and english.... like explaining why i cut my hair -___________- it was so messed haha ... am i weird? o___O cuz i do it a lot T_T

I remember it was an assignment to create an imaginary friend two years ago in my English class. It was pretty fun, but I ended up creating someone who I wanted to be.

actually i never had an imaginery friend when i was little xD though i always imagined i was someone else like i would pretend im Sailor moon or something xD

I did. I had four of them and we played around a lot... ._.

The ring leader was a blonde haired boy who looked like one of my dolls and I used to always call him 'Sam'. The others, I can't remember.

I wonder if it means you have an overactive imagination... or perhaps it was a ghost I was really seeing?

Head: You do it or something bad will find you tonight like ...
Me: No i really cant T_T
Head: You must! Trust me! you can do it!! Come on!

Me: Do i look funny in this hmm...
Head: Not really. Maybe it's because of *this and that*
Me: Let's change another set of clothes!

I seriously did not when I was little. I tried to have one but I forgot about it and it was just not appealing.

I had imaginary classmates, teachers and pets.
It was gross.

I tried to make one up after watching TV, I named it Barney LOL.
I remember my brother sat next to me, also where "Barney" was sitting, I was like *GASP* YOU'RE SITTING ON BARNEY!!!
20 minutes later I sat in the same place and forgot there was a "barney" LOL.
...Come to think of it, why DID I name it barney?

Well I TRIED my hardest to always have one, but I never had the imagination to make one and keep it. I have a younger sister to chill with 24/7 anyways.

a lot of imaginary friends are demons....they mimic human forms and come to u....especially at nite it wants to scare u by sitting next to u....FREAKY HUH?

Nope. I saw all the other kids doing it (on tv) and decided that I want an imaginary friend too. Billy was his name and that didn't last too long cause I didn't have that much of an imagination and got pissed that he didn't reply. Anyways, that's how it went.. horribly.

i never understood the big deal about imaginary friends.

when i was younger all my friends had imaginary friends and i felt left out cuz i didn't have one. So i tried making one up....but our relationship didn't work out lol I ended up having to force myself to imagine a friend so i was all like screw this.

now that i look back, its rather ironic
