I tried and it really does work.

My mom bought a ton of these but I refused to use them because I thought they were some kind of bootleg Likas hahaha.

Oh yes, another whitening product =) I've always wanted to try the Likas Papaya Soap, but I can't find it in my area and on Soompi S&T. This seems to be more effective/stronger (?) than the Likas brand. I would love to try this one as well. Has anybody seen in the NYC area or selling it from the States?

Is anyone selling these soaps on soompi? Also if we use it how long will it take for it to see result and how often do we use it? everyday? A couple time a week? Sorry so much questions ^^

I use this soap and it actually works for me!!! I got mine from a local asian grocery store. I totally recommend this.

anyways, I recommend it to all! I got mine for 3.40? I went to a Flip market, basically you can find them in any flip market. If anyone is from SJ area and needs some help, hit me up and I'll give you directions.

Um, not to burst the bubble. But there is no fruit of orange in the soap. the orange refers to the colour of the papaya.

So it's really just PAPAYA. Though, i think it will be pretty cool for the soap to have both papaya and citrus fruit for greater effect.

I bought 3 bars from Mirae-Chan. She resides in Toronto. But her survey for it is already closed.
I've been using it for about 1-2 weeks and there's a change in the dark skin colour of my hands but not much for my face..
That's why I started to leave it on for about 3 minutes-10 minutes and wash it off.
But when I put it on my face. it STINGSSS!!! T_T it just hurts.. it stings for a while and then it starts to get milder.
im starting to assume its fake.. :|

No. Papaya isn't really a bleaching agent -- it's an exfoliant. You could try it though and get back to us lol.

I've been using it for a week and I think I see a little difference or I might just be delusional
Its kinda hard to tell because I'm not that dark to begin with
It doesn't sting for me but I don't leave it on for very long
My skin does feel fairly tight and dry afterwards but I have oily skin so I don't mind it
& applying moisturizer on your face will fix that
& it doesn't make me break out in fact, I think its helping my acne
I was planning to write a review on it on my blog but I got lazy
& I wanna wait a bit longer until I see significant changes(:

Don't worry if it stings^^ when you put lemon on your skin it stings too (people say that lemon lighten your skin) and i heard that with likas soap it skings too so don't worry

ah thanks! im using a dove soap for sensitive skin and benzoyl perioxide provided from my dermatologist [for acne] and it seems to not sting anymore or just not as much ^^ my face isnt getting much lighter though :[ oh well ill keep trying ^^

i think someone said this contained titanium dioxide, isnt that a carcinogen, is it safe to use this soap, i already ordered 2..

Well me and my mom went to this Asian store while we were waiting for the bus to come. And I checked the store to see if they had any skin whitening products and no luck but at this corner I found hiyas for 1.99 so I got two.

Hopefully this will work! For those of you in Mississauga you can find hiyas at this big Asian super market at Dixie and Bloor I think.

What if your skin is already the lightest it will go? does the soap only remove your tan or does it lighten your skin regardless of whether it's been darkened by the sun or not?

I just bought two bars from Amazon and wanted to find a review for it. Found this. Results seem promising but not sure how it'd go for me. I'll come back and share.
