Have any of you guys heard of that show Dexter that airs on Showtime? My buddy who is obsessed with it has been trying to get me to watch it just told me that CBS is going to start airing the first season starting February 17. I've seen a couple of episodes and it looks like a super incredible show. I love CSI and shows like that so I know this is going to become a favorite of mine. I like the whole idea of rooting for the bad guy, because I guess the main character is a serial killer, who kills bad people.. sounds interesting right?

Great show, hopefully they don't decide to start censoring it.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of the show. I've been watching it since it first premiered on showtime and I've seen both seasons. It's a great show. Michael C. Hall is incredible.

I'll check it out on CBS to see how they do it. Of course theres swearing but there's a lot of violence obviously and in the second season there's a lot of sex and nudity. I think it's nice they're getting it out there so more people can see it's greatness, but I don't want it to do so well that they move it to CBS and water it down and turn it into another CSI type show or something. I want it to stay on Showtime in all it's half season bloody glory.

Yea I think it's cool that CBS is going to be airing it because its giving non-Showtime subscribers an opportunity to watch! I really loved Michael C. Hall was amazing in six feet under as well... I'm really eager to see how he plays out this role. From what I have seen he does a superb job of making the viewer forget that he in fact is a murderer!

I've been watching Dexter ever since its debut on Showtime for 2 yrs and now the switch to Primetime on CBS.

I caught Dexter on CBS this Sunday, I was so happy with the editing. I am a huge fan of the show already, and wanted to revisit season one! It is so amazing, and Michael C Hall is such a brilliant actor. I loved that episode.. What did you guys think?

What was the editing like? Did they just mute the curse words like the cable networks that show Six Feet Under and The Sopranos do?

^ I think they changed the F word to freaking because we all know Doakes likes to say that around Dexter. ^^v There were also some silencing of other cuss words. My favorite, motherlover. lol

HeffyEnd the editing was fantastic. Seriously, the only thing that was changed was the language and other than that you could barley notice any changes! I am so happy with how CBS handled the editing. All of my friends are obsessed with Dex now.. I love it

this show is so good! my friend bought s1 and me and my bf got addicted! so we went and bought s2 and watched it in less than 24 hrs! lol. gosh i hated lila! thats why i told my bf he better not dump me for a hot chick cause he'll come crawling back to me after the hot chick turns psycho! lol. we're thinking about getting showtime now just to watch it.

This is probably my favorite show on tv now. Technically the 1st episode of Season 3 premiers tomorrow on Showtime, but I think most of us know that it has been leaked on the internet for a while. I wonder where they're going to head this season. I'm a little worried. I get worried whenever shows diverge from the original plotline of whatever they're based on, but I did like season 2 so I'm hoping season 3 is more of the same quality and attention to detail they need with a series like this.

yup, this is also one of my favorite t.v. shows.

yeah it's kinda dangerous in this situation... having a friend for business like that isn't the greatest thing, especially how his friend is in the position and power to backfire at him any moment if he wanted to.
