I love Ayaka, she's incredible. i love her voice, her live singing, her style... All her singles are great, but the first album is not as good as expected (maybe it was expected too much since her singles were all good). I prefer her ballad such as Why or Mikazuki over her pop/rock like Real Voice. However, they're all great as well. and Ayaka always has beautiful single cover, except for Real Voice.

I've heard Let's Hold Hand PV is out (can't remember its J name, Te wo...) gonna download it. The audio's <3

Her album I still have to listen to it so I don't know what to think of it yet. Glad to know a new album coming out this year

I first heard of her when Sapuri came out and she sang, Real Voice for the ending theme song to the drama. I also love her song Why, which is also being used for Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. I love her voice

i love her! i've been following her ever since her "I Believe" debut. very strong vocals, i can see why she won the best newcomer award. Winding Road with Kobukuro is amazingly awesome! The live version totally blew me away! The acapella is love <3 she's so good at live!

I love love love ayaka, but sometimes her songs are a hit or miss for me. Sometimes I would love it to death, or other times, I would just be bored with it. I think it's because of the genre of her music and all.

Yeah! I hate it when people capitalize it too. But the forums automatically capitalizes it, I can't help it. I tried fixing it a couple of times already. ):

the capitalize "Ayaka" seems like the other Ayaka to me (Ayaka Hirahara) but we can't help it if Soompi can't support the all small caps.

Yes! I found the ayaka thread. She's is awesome awesome awesome. My favourite singer of all time!! I pretty much love all her songs, but the ones which stand out for me are all her ballads.

looks like there's no new album in april. instead, there's a new single on may 14th, called "okaeri". it's the theme song to the drama "Zettai Kareshi" (which airs on april 8th). the song's described as a mid-tempo love ballad.

^ I heard about that. I'm quite disappointed. I was really looking forward to an album. Now, when she does release an album, it's gona be full of her A-side singles. This is going to be her 6th single since First Message, and two of the previous singles were double A-side. Which means if she puts all her A-side on her future album, they'll be 8 tracks already. ):

^I don't think so. Someone above mentioned that there'll be 8 track already in her new album, but there may be 15 tracks in total, so we'll have 6,7 new tracks. Anyway, there hasn't been any confirmation about the 2nd album yet. On the contracy, it's rumored that another single'll out at May 14th name おかえり (Okaeri).

Te wo Tsunagu's sale's low, so did the recent ones. I wonder if her new album can reach 500k mark (not to mention another First Message).

Love her! Her voice is so pretty I watched Music Fair 21, and she performed Te Wo Tsunagou... so good!

I think ayaka is more of an album seller than a single seller. Or well, I'm hoping she is. ^^; I'm guessing she'll release an album during the summer or something.


I don't think Warner Music releases CD+DVD editions that often. ayaka isn't much of an "idol" so she doesn't need CD+DVD editions. She's not like Aragaki Yui - who has more of an idol image - who released a CD+DVD edition of her album.

I really can't wait for ayaka's new album. I just hope it won't be full of a and b-sides

It's a good song, but nothing beats "Te wo Tsunagou".

I love the bridge though; and I love the instrumentals. ayaka's instrumentals in her songs always pwnnn. <3
