im doing a science project about music and plants can anyone recommend alternitive rock, punk rock, rock songs or heavy metal songs ? also soft songs like ..bethoven or things like that

it has to be english since i have to present it to the class no curses or suicidal themes please i needa keep it clean in order to present it

it dosent need to be typically long im just gonna put it on a playlist and replay it on my ipod speakers so the typical 2:00-5:00 minutes or over songs are god enough

and what exactly are you looking for in terms of how it relates to your project.

I hope I helped.. somehow. The first three songs are post-rock and instrumental, which I think would be perfect as background music. They are also quite long also..

You can try out some heavy/alternative/punk rock like
Avenged Sevenfold: Songs like Seize the Day, M.I.A or Lost.
Or Some Sixx A.M. Songs from the album "Heroin Diaries"
(watch out though cause they have some suicidal themes)
