Johnny's 'elites' are

• Matsumoto Jun (member of ARASHI)
• Nakai Masahiro (leader of SMAP)
• Higashiyama Noriyuki (member of Shounentai)

I was looking up profiles of ARASHI members and when i came across matsumoto jun's i read (resource:wiki)

i'm pretty sure okada junichi is also considered an elite.
he won a contest and pretty much got to bypass being a junior and went straight into the group V6.
hes crazy talented and cute haha.

Is Yuya Tegoshi of NEWS considered an 'elite' he wasn't in any groups before joining NEWS, but I'm not sure if he trained for a few months or not??

^ I think Tegoshi was trained for around 6 months? not sure.... I <3 Tegoshi's voice.

As for as I know, the elites are the ones who didn't go through auditions. They were contacted by Johnny Kitagawa himself and asked them personally if they wanted to join the company. I don't think Tegoshi is part of the elites because he did go through auditions. I am impressed that he was only a trainee for a couple of months and he already debuted.

So far, there are only 3 elites in Johnny's and those are the ones that were mentioned above.

aww i would think kimura takuya, okada junichi, and matsumato jun haha. but kimura takuya was a junior xP

no tegoshi wouldnt be considered an elite... yet. Yamapi is more of an elite then tegoshi~

Tegoshi isn't an elite; he just had enough singing talent that he was able to debut very early.

I think both Tackey and Yamapi can considered as "elites". Not 100% sure, but I remember both of them didn't need to audition either.

Okada can't be considered an elite unless he didn't audition.

^ Nope, Takki auditioned because I remember a interview with T&T, they mentioned that they both met at auditions. Yamapi auditioned as well so they're not elites. Only those three are considered elites of Johnny's.

Calling them elites makes them sound so cool rofl.

I remember watching Miyake Ken's Shounen Club Premium, he said that Johnny-san called him 2 days after he sent his application.
