This new up and coming Asian American band, Seriously is made up of four young men from Diamond Bar, California (Philip Park, 19; Chris Pham,19; Josh Baek, 22 and Nathan Park, 19). The four guys began playing together in a local church and came together to compete in LA’s premier Asian American talent show, Kollaboration in 2006 where they won the Grand Prize with their song, “Irony”. Since their winning performance at Kollaboration, they were signed by Woody Pak, CEO/ producer of Chaos Theory Music and artist manager, Gloria Lee, to record an EP showing off their talent for melanchology yet fresh songwriting. Seriously’s music blends hints of K-pop (aka Korean pop music), Brit-pop and American rock & roll, and their songs display a signature melancholy-hued optimism with raw honesty.


Chris (Vocals)
Chris is a self-professed genius at Smash Bros and a gaming geek who grew up unaware of the extent of his vocal talents. It was only in 8th grade while onthe phone singing an Usher song for a girl that he was 'discovered' (by this girl) and rumours about his vocal skills began to precede him, eventually leading him to the mic. A free spirit, Chris doesn't believe that having a large salary means you're successful in life. "I'm still finding out my own revelation, my calling," says Chris. Chris is a freshman at Fullerton College.

Josh (Bass)
A 'born-again' rebel with a moving personal history, Josh graduated UCLA with a degree in aero-nautical engineering. For a guy with such a calm and easygoing temperament, Josh actually enjoys seeking excitement in his leisure activities such as riding his motorcycle, skydiving, mountainbiking, and surfing. He tries to enjoy every moment, and strives to be cool, special and unexpected in life.

Nathan (Lead Guitar)
Seriously’s multi-talented guitarist, Nathan has known and played music with Chris, Josh and Philip in church for many years. The "chillest" member of the band and a student at UCLA, Nathan plays guitar, bass as well as the piano. Nathan is a driven spirit who never takes no for an answer, and dreams of becoming a surgeon one day.

Philip (Drums)
Philip grew up playing classical viola, and was brought up in a very musical family. And as a self-taught drummer who's had to endure a lot of criticism from people around him, Philip worked hard to improve his technique over the years. A worry-wart and a control-freak who does not like to do things randomly, is a planner and only likes surprises when he expects it, Philip is a pre-med student at UC San Diego.

Wow I remember hearing about them in what now seems like a really long time ago! I completely forgot until I read this.. I wonder if they have plans to try and go mainstream? I don't think much people will know about them. Kind of shame, cuz they're pretty good! Oh well I'm rooting for them~ seem like nice guys. I like the band name too, lol.

and lol, I was searching them on Youtube one day, being alittle stalkerish, and came across this Vietnamese dating show, and Chris was being featured and three girls were trying to win his heart and omo was it funny. and Chris is just the cutest thing ever.
