I don't really know how to describe their music but I really like their album.
To me it has a very dreamy sound. Whispery echos, that kind of thing.

i watched their spring day video...it was unexpected....because i didn't expect to see the illustrations and all....but i liked it...although i don't get it...but then...the female vocals are really awesome! just like you said...really soothing too....

I would describe their music as dreamly shoegaze. they are shoegaze-ish in my opinion
it's really hard to find some infos bout them, especially in english, so I post a link with review of their album. even if I can't totally agree with Jenny Wu (she made this article), her article is quite nice and professional. REVIEW

and I was surprised, coz normally I'm not big fan of remixes, but I've found that I like Jelly Boy Remix quite much.

Hi!!! I'm really excited that there is a Donawhale topic!! I heard some of their songs and now I really want to check out the full album. Do you know where i can dl it? They remind me of a cross between Misty Blue and Bluedawn.

^Yes, they remind me of Misty Blue and Bluedawn too. I find them softer than Misty Blue but more rock than Bluedawn. There's a bit more variation in their music compared to Bluedawn. I love the sound of the rain at the beginning of 비오는 밤 and the piano sounds really melancholy and nice during it.

My best friend and I love this group to death.

This is a really good album, worth the money for sure.

To start some discussion, what are your (everyone's) top 3 favorite songs from the first Donawhale album?

Mine are Acacia, Foolstar, and Feb. It was hard to choose because the "standout" songs (Close Your Eyes, Echo, A Spring Day, etc) were also amazing, but I could listen to my top 3 all day. Haha.

Do you guys know where to find the lyrics in hangul? I managed to find only a few, and I'm dying to get my grubby hands on Echo, but my Korean is not good enough to guess the lyrics from the song.

finally got around trying their stuff and i'm loving it. I'm really liking their instrumentals...sometimes it reminds me of dear cloud in their heavier sounding songs. i haven't listened to all their songs yet but so far i like:

Just heard a few songs of them and i like it. It's really soft and simple sounding....really sweet and calming, you could say. So I'm assuming their new album has already come out/is going to come out soon? I'd like to listen~

I just started listening to Donawhale recently and haven't been able to stop. I love how mellow and relaxing their music is. :D

I definitely recommend them to anyone who hasn't listened to them before.
