^ ep 13 is definately NOT boring imo. It's not as dramatic as ep 12 but I definately wouldn't call it boring. I think it is an important ep as it shows us how XY changes and transform into a confident lady. Yes, you can argue that it's a fillar ep since they could've just say "2 years later" instead of showing us all those scenes, but I think it depends on how you look at it.

They already showed us all the spoilers that I can practically guess what's gonna happen! I have a feeling it's gonna get draggy. Hopefully people will still watch it.

^I didn't think it was boring...they needed the episode as a transition...otherwise how else would we see XY and CX both change? It wasn't as "action-packed" as episode 12, but it was still good. Episode 14 does look a bit...more strange because like others have said, how can XY not recognize CX's face despite that masquerade mask, and the whole phone conversation. I hope there's not too many coincidences that it'll turn into Meteor Garden 2. lol...but the script writers and directors will do a good job I think. Plus, it's just a preview, so we shouldn't judge until we see the episode I guess.

i enjoyed ep13 coz of all the sweet dylan moments. two years have passed so i can accept cx not recognizing xy's voice over the phone but for her not to recognize him when she "loved" him more and with such a flimsy half-mask?

Just as an aside, the Wikipedia page for FTLY has updated broadcast info. It went from 15 episodes (ending on 6/22) to 22 episodes (ending on 8/10). That's a lot of episodes! I get the feeling the later episodes will drag on. but god I hope not. I have faith in the scriptwriters so it should be okay

Omg! I can't wait till the subs come out for episode 13 even though many people are saying its not that good. But still the preview for episode 14 makes it even eager to wait for the future episodes! This drama has been very good so far I hope it doesn't drag the when they see each other again part!

It breaks another record for the cast and crew. We're getting closer to see Xiao Tian in swimming trunk I was actually skeptic first about the rating, I thought it wouldnt topped episode 12, guess I was wrong . I love the split screen parts, where we were being introduced to their lives after the miscarriage. I love how everything seems remind CX of XY. Every single thing. And how XY on the other hand actually seems okay and moves on with her life, and her close relationship with Dylan, though I guess it wont stay long, I cant wait to see jealous CX and see the real scene from the 'XY is my wife, give her back to me' preview and the fight with Dylan. The new opening scenes was so fun and full of spoiler, I'm dying to see the CX inside the trash bin part, where XY rolls him down and then chases after him

and yeah I love the split-screen part. The director did that in ep. 11 (I think) too and I thought that was really cool. and omg yeah I GASPED when I watched the opening credits, when poor CX rolled down the steps in a trash can?! WTF?! HAHA

Concerning epi 13, there are a lot of people who like it, particularly those viewers who simply love XY and also those who love Dylan. And also those who love FLTY for its story.

From the ratings, it looks like there are a lot of people belonging to the above 3 groups.

Okay, I said that cause I just saw this clips from youtube, where the cast were celebrating last week episode, and Qiao En and Bianca Bai were carrying a tray full of hysterical looking thongs, so I thought that Xiao Tian wont go commando afterall..

yeah Ep13 was definitely not a boring episode, all FTLY fans shouldn't miss it at all!
Not every single episode of a drama series has to be or can be as dramatic as ep12.

This drama has really good production values, good acting...no wonder the ratings are so high.

I'm a little worried that extending the no. of episodes will ruin the rest of the story as has so often happened in other dramas,
but yeah, hoping it'll all be good.

I have lurked for the past months in this thread but rarely posted a thing because I am way behind the episodes. Now that I have catched up I must comment.

I love every bit of episode 13. Though the past episodes are funny and has so many XY and CX moments it was just ok for me because I didn't like XY's "sticky note" personality. There are times that CX are especially kind to XY but most of the time he is the one who bullies XY.

In this episode, I saw XY transformation and I started to like her more. She did not only change looks-wise but you can also see the determination and fiery of a woman. I would not be surprised of Dylan got attracted to her more . I also like seeing CX chase after XY! For now, he lost his chance with XY when he chose to be with Anna and ignore his feelings for XY.

Wah! Though I like CX and XY to be together I am attracted to Dylan! Somehow I was happy to see XY and Dylan interaction! Anna.. know she was just partially to be blamed and somehow the victim but do not like her very selfish attitude. I am not particularly happy about CX getting married to Anna.

On preview: I am looking forward to the coming episodes! I can't wait to see more of CX's antics in trying to chase and win back XY!

I found ep 13 abit slow for me. But I love Dylan in this ep and I wish he gets the girl.. but obviously not.
I hope Dylan just don't back away again when XY met up with CX!! Show some fighting spirit!!

hmm, 22 episodes might be too long. i hope it doesn't drag on towards the end like most shows. i have faith in the actors and writers coz they've done an excellent job of getting you hooked on every episode... especially since it's up to ep.14 already! this has become my FAVORITE taiwanese drama! i just simply LOVE this show!

i'm supposing the bulk of the end shows just how CX gets XY back as well as them switching roles. they'll definitely have a different relationship, and i'm really excited to see it. personally, i'm not too sick of it yet. i'd say this is one of the first tw dramas that've done it for me.

just finished ep. 13...it was as bad as people say but yeah...anyways...i am mad tough...cause how can cun xi still like xin yi but is engaged to anna..i mean that is messed up...and then when he goes off to shanghai and see her again he'll want to get her back....if he really liked her..he should have never be engaged with anna and he would have still be looking for her.....with all is money..he could have found her...but then yeah.....seeing him so miserable throughout the whole ep. 13 breaks my heart even though i am mad at him..love this drama...can't wait for ep. 14..it will be very interesting

i think the reason why he's engaged to her is he's trying to move on. i think it's a little weird though, because he seems to act as though he's going through the motions. but i guess it's also not fair in his view to just leave her hanging in limbo between girlfriend-non-girlfriend status.

and still, the most effective scene is the mom's scolding speech to cun xi.

heheh - cun xi's face in most of the episode is just stoic. almost like he's bored. no xin yi to play with!!!!!!!

The MAIN reason he chose to stay with Anna is because of guilt. She hurt her ankle because of him, and she had to give up doing professional ballet because of him too.

Yeah it was so sad seeing his face like -___- the entire episode.

oh the scene with CX and XY's mom gave me goosebumps! it was executed so well by Mei Xiu Jie and Ethan! i really started to miss my parents then!

^LOL...me too! I love it when Xiao Tian makes the quacking noise! Even Na Ge couldn't hold back his laughter when they were filming that scene! I love Xiao Tian's portrayl of CX! Makes the 童真 within him so genuine!

after watching ep. 13, i feel like i'm rooting for dylan even though i know her heart goes to ji cunxi but i can still root for a bit. ep. 13 is actually very touching because i enjoyed watching the scenes - her subtle transformation in shanghai and his transformation too. but i just dont understand why he would get engaged to her and in teh preview - tells xinyi he still likes her -.-

Umm, I just watched part of episode 13. I take back words about it's being boring. Well, I guess cuz I couldn't see anything and I didn't understand Chinese so it was boring for me last Sunday, hahaha. Anyway, I love CX in this episode. I don't know why when I see him in tears and saying such words about loving XY and how he regretted to death. Oh, goodness, seeing him in tears made me want to cry too!!! Poor guy. Anyway, I hope he'll see XY & Dylan together soon and hopefully this series won't be like the novel. I hope it'll be more exciting with CX chasing after XY.

Epi 13 is not action-packed like epi 12, but I absolutely love the dialogues. All the dialogues between the characters are meaningful and deep, including the descriptions of how XY and CX lived the last 2 years. In some dramas, they would just show on the screen "After 2 years...."

Haha. I saw xiao jing teng on wxyl. He will be guest starring in fated to love you.
