The beginning of the drama is so funny. I'm on episode 14 and so far the drama is getting push into a different direction. It was sad when Xin Yi believe the fake abortion papers. ><; especially the part when they were in the hospital and Cun Xi had to make decision between Xin Yi or the baby. I give kudos to Ethan when I saw that scene.

FTLY is the BEST rated drama ever in Taiwan at 11.25%!!! And, I know it will continue to make record for the remaining episodes!! From the above link, it also says that FTLY may be 22 episodes, not 20.

Another new drama, Hot Shot by Jerry Yan, Show Luo and Wu Zun, is going to telecast on 27-Jul-08, so I think there's definitely have a fight of rating between these 2 drama! I really hope that FTLY can maintain its rating!!

wow, i really hate the part in ep 17 when Anna says "not inherit the dream of the mom who adopt me...". But it shows that she was really spoiled from the start. Her brother would always be there to provide for her, so she seems to have this complex of "i should have everything!" Then she is also clingy - probably because she lost her brother, her real family and someone she loved very much, and so that's why she's so clingy to CX. Which really sickens me. It'd be so easy to almost blame Dylan for "raising" her in this way - or at least putting enough memories in her that brought about certain habits, that are now detrimental to CX and XY's relationship developing.

I can see why people said the first half was more exciting than the second half, but I didn't think it was. Scenes with XY are fun - no matter where it was, and the scenes with Anson and CX are really great. I love Anson! He gives such a comedic vibe that it breaks the pace a little. I don't mind the fact that every so often he has a little monologue-sort of thing that seems to have a message for CX about what to do, what not to do, or sparks another "eureka!" moment.

It's only slow whenever Anna comes on - she doesn't deliver her lines very smoothly...

I tend to skip all the Anna/CX and Dylan/XY parts.

Well...if I am not wrong, Frog Prince got the highest rating at 11.35 as a peak at specific period of aired time while 8.05 is the average rating. For FTLY, at the moment the highest rating is 11.25 which is a little bit lower. But when it come to the average rating, surprisingly it is now 9.25!!!! So it depends on how you are going to judge them with. If base on the average, FTLY is become the no.1 which already broke the record of Frog Prince. So make sure that you are discuss about the rating base on the same criteria of judgement.

I used to think the same thing like you. But then remember that CX already checked out from the hotel and planned to head to airport. Then he found XY and decided to stay. In real life, once you checked out, the room will be assigned for another guest. Anyway, the hotel doesn't have only one suit room, right? Hah. The character of Anna doesn't annoy me as much as the way Bianca Bai delivers her lines: it's not very convincing nor natural, and her lisp annoys me like hell. The way she says 'Cun Xi' is worthy of a punch in itself, and let's not even get into her English..

Oh, rainy correction: I think I'm just so tired from waiting for XY & CX to say that they love each other. (I think that's why I just wanted this series to end soon.) It took forever for CX to tell XY her he wanted her back. That's why I felt like it was a drag. It's funny how next week will end my wait, but I don't feel excited for it to end.

I personally think CX was so indecisive, and he was waiting for opportunities to solve his own problems. He wasn't brave enough to stand on solid ground and love XY solidly. Just like next week's preview is revealing. All this time CX was always in a mess and always having a hard time straighting things out. Until he found out the truth about how Anna gave XY an abortion bill. That's lame, he should end his marriage with Anna upfront and straight out his feelings and chase after XY instead of waiting for her to "drop by". Come on, CX, that's not how you shoud treat/love XY, she's not just some stick note for you to have whenever you need. >____<

Anyway, I thought the 1st half of ep18 was abit boring.... but at least the 2nd half picked up and it was really nice..... Now I cant wait for ep 19 again. Does anyone know if its 20 or 22 episodes? It appears that noone knows exacty how many ep there are and it's already nearing the 20 mark.... if its 20 ep, then chances are we are going to have a very sweet ending with CX trying to chase XY back. But if it's 22 ep, I'm afraid there maybe some other plots developing which may not be that pleasant.... (purely based on my own assumptions, I haven read the book or anything)... hmmm.. would 20 or 22 ep be nicer? lol... Matbe 22 will be better so I can get more doses of CX and XY... hehehe.....

I found the first half of the episode quite boring. That whole scene with CX and Anson in the "jiu dian" wasn't necessary...and what is up with the naked girls scene. -_____-....I felt that a lot of the scenes were added just to extend this series. If that was really the case, they could've added scenes that actually contribute to the plot of the series. The first 15 minutes or so were so random...O.o.

I liked the second half a bit better, I liked the interaction between CX and XY at his front door...and how the truth was leaked about those papers. I hope the next episode is more promising.

I hope it ends at episode 20. It's dragging on too much. It needs to have a good ending. I guess we've been flying a long distance and so far, I haven't seen a good landing for this series. I don't even know when is the climax of this drama.

And by the way, Soompi is definitely devoted to K-dramas only. If you want, you can go to Asian Fanatics and you can discuss more on T-dramas there. There are more Chinese translators there too. I only go to AF for T-dramas, and I go to Soompi for the same reasons now. lol. I don't know whatever happened to my K-dramas crave, but I haven't been watching K-dramas for the past 1-2 years. But I'm still loyal to Soompi. Even if there aren't a lot of people writing in this thread, I still think it's great to pass on good stuffs from another forum into this forum. Let's talk more so we can make more different fans other than K-dramas fans talk here.

As this episode is kinda "boring" during the first half, from the TTV forum, many say it could be the help of Jam Hsiao(the "slow speaking" vet in EP18) as he is super famous in Taiwan now.........

Did the group subbing this series [Random Fansubs] stop? It's been a while since their last release.

No singer in Taiwan has the popularity to achieve TV rating above 6....rainie has album sales higher than Jam Hsiao when she acted in idol dramas in the past year and the drama was never even 5....He only appeared for less thatn 5 minutes and he could not have pushed the average TV rating to 10.60 for 90 minutes....

Audience are emotional attached to the love of XY and CX and love the other characters in FTLY and that is why the rating is going higher and higher. Even if there were boring moments in the drama for some, some might love the same particular moments and also audience want to know what happen in the story and that is why they continue to watch.

I agree about too many dragging parts and hope it could end at episode 20 not 22. It would be better if they could add some cute part from the novel in to the film rather than those scence in the night club with naked girls (would be more than happy to see CX naked than anything...ieieie)

But I think I have seen the climax in episode 12 when XY got the accident and that changed everyone's life. I am satisfied with the production, screen writer, script and every little thing.

Ahhhhhhhh...thank you for reminding me about the climax of this series. Man, I even forgot that there was a climax. lol. Well, I guess that's why we are waiting for it to end since it's already 6 episodes after the climax.

I like this series of course, but I think there's really nothing left for me to anticipate. I've been waiting too long that I've become so deprived. I'm waiting for CX & XY to be together for like forever. I wish there were more scenes of CX & XY together. But there weren't many and then now we get to have this perfect deal for CX to cancel on the marriage/wedding because he found out Anna had made a mistake. Woahhh..I wish CX would have more of the initiative move and shows his love towards XY before that even. Kind of hard to express how I feel now about this series. But for sure I am not giving it up. I'm just hoping it's going to end soon so I don't have to kill myself each week waiting for it to end.

instead of wishwashy i would say cx lacks backbone. everytime cx determines to break it off with anna he gets suckered by her antics. the "woe is me, you're all i have, i can't live without you" accompanied with tears.


from ep 16 onwards i was more often annoyed than not with the way the story progressed. it seems like xy took a spin in a time machine and reverted to the mentality of a little kid behaving badly. also was the club scene in ep 18 really necessary? anson's the only saving grace since he was always silly to begin with so nothing new there and good comic relief.

This series air on Sunday night at 10.00-11.30 and the channel is 台视 when u watch TV at hotel u search for this channel,i think hotel in taipei always air that channel.
