no wonder there's this news which kept rolling/sliding down the left side of the screen when im watching and i got distracted cos it says "The Nation's Most Popular Romance Drama 'Fated To Love You'..blah blah.."

i was like O.O Most popular??so fast?hehe.

AHHHHHH!!! average of 5.3?! that's AMAZING. Especially since TKA, which is presumably 2nd, probably only reached ~2.something (sad though, cuz I love TKA).

Anyway, the whole abortion part was so sad, but what Cun Xi did at the end was SO SWEET. gosh I totally adore him T_T

Omg, this drama was so funny! I totally loved the grandma...I'm impressed really, Taiwanese dramas are catching on quickly! I use to dislike them, but now I love how I'm able to understand it when they speak and curse in Taiwanese

i just watched 2 episodes today, so far it's really pretty interesting and i like ethan alot and somehow when watching this drama, im liking dylan...so i went and google his name too xD

agreed! not in my wildest imagination could i have imagined a romantic scene inside an abortion clinic! And it looks like they will get married in the next episode. I feel bad for his girlfriend Anna. She doesn't seem like those bitchy girlfriends in most dramas- she's just a bit self-centered and childish- and I know if I were in her shoes, I would feel totally betrayed by Ethan. I hope she gets with somebody. Same wit dylan-who's so nice and cute and smart. I was totally blown away by how he guessed which bowl was the real one at the auction- especially in contrast with that scene of Ethan just haphazardly tossing that CD of the scandalous pics into his desk drawer in ep.2.

as for the other characters, I'm probably in the minority for not loving the grandmother too much. She's just too exaggerated for me and seem more like a caricature of a sprightly grandma. She's supposed to be close to 80 but she looks more like in her 60s. I love Cun Xi's assistant- he is wonderful and I feel like i've seen him before in other kdramas. And who else thinks it's a hoot that the actress who play the stepmother in this series is the actress who played Tian Yu's mom in Prince Turns to Frog (the actress,Qiao En, who plays Xin Yi played Tian Yu)? And I bet we'll be seeing her snub XinYi alot through the series!

Of course my favorite character has got to be Chen Xin-Yi. I feel like the show should be named Jia You Chen Xin Yi!

In the latest BTS, QE was seen crying (Ethan was teary too) when she heard Episode 2 reached a high rating of 4.52. The director hugged and praised her --- he said, "CQE you finally climbed your way back" …(sorry I am not very good in Mandarin…but I think he said something along that line…). The three of them hugged together to celebrate the good news. Please correct me if that translation is inaccurate - thanks. QE hoped Ethan will be next male star to break the rating of 8 as previously set by PTF. Well, it’s possible…Jiayou!!

OMG! I thot I am the only one waiting for interaction between Dylan and Xinyi. HAHAHA! He is so freaking cute! He doesn't even need to speak. He just has to sit there, thinking and making all those kewwwwwtttttttt expressions. LOL!!

Hey gals, I am also hooked on him - he has a charming-killer-look....even when he is on silent mode. I think he’ll be the next T-actor to make it big (so far, as a newbie, he has shown great potential in his acting skill) though he has already attracted viewers in his movie role in Kungfu Dunk.

I am looking forward to watch Dylan and Xin Yi’s scenes – pretty sure he’s going to make Cun Xi jealous.

Yup, same sentiments...I think Ethan's expressive facial gestures is still acceptable - maybe, that's supposed to be his character. Anyways, this is his first major lead role.....

Oh yeah....they took great advantage of Ethan's swimming skill (he had won swimming competitions and was an instructor too - he's very active in sports). From my observation during their promotion trips at WQYL, the four leads appeared very closed except Baron who is a bit quiet.

I don't think Anna will be appearing in the next episode...she keeps close contact with Cun Xi through telecommunication.

Dylan and Cun Xi are not brothers - but Dylan is looking for his long lost sister. In one of the WQYL shows, Baron did reveal that four of them are somehow related...I am not sure how are they related through blood-ties or relatives?

I am not really into TW dramas but because of Qiao En I have been following up with this drama since the beginning. She's the reason I watched FTLY and of course, the rest of the cast are growing on me. I am only familiar with Ethan - saw him in Green Forest. Some of the supporting roles are from PTF.....XY's 2nd sister and CX's step mom.

This is the same director who did PTF but I am not too sure of the scriptwriter(s) and if I am not mistaken, she has Qiao En on her mind when she scripted the role character of Chen Xin Yi.

Yeah, me too, I think Anna is Dylan’s long lost sister who goes by the same name as Xin Yi. Dylan does not live together with CX and his granny (he still lives in St John Orphanage where he grew up and I think he’s rich considering that he is one of the world’s best auctioneer – CX’s step mom refers him as the current golden boy in the auction’s world –as translated by meosles in AF)…sorry, I am not sure how these three people are related. Hope some one who has read the novel can reveal to us….
