Plot
The Strangers is a 2007 horror thriller from Rogue Pictures.A terrifying suspense thriller about a couple (Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman) in a remote suburban house who are targeted by three dangerous masked strangers. The resulting clashes force the couple to go well beyond what they thought themselves capable of in order to survive.







Uh ya, I'm definitely going to get nightmares.

it looks like three regular people with masks on just scaring people. It doesn't look horrifying. Um...why are they scaring the couple btw?

The release date got pushed back to August, actually. I'm pretty sure. I actually might want to see this. I want to know their motivation.

I saw the trailer for this when I went to go see Prom Night..
omgshh.. Scariest trailer I've seen in a while. I'm excited for this movie. lols

Those line for some reason gave me a cold chill when I saw the preview.
The movie itself doesn't seem all that scary. I'm more creeped out by them standing behind people while they don't noticed haha

I saw this preview like late last year and I must say it looks terrifying,
one of the scariest looking movies I've seen in a while.
Definitely going to see if it is as scary as I think it is.
Well maybe it was the format in which they showed it,
buttt it grabbed my attention.

I just saw this trailer the other day and I was like WTF because I didn't notice them wearing masks since I just thought they were ghosts or something.

LMFAO i saw the trailer,
the masks don`t really look scary,
especially the one in the middle of the first picture.

OOOh can't wait! I like horror movies. The mask in the middle of the poster doesnt look scary at all.

i saw a trailer for a movie that has like.. the same plot.
its a couple with a young son and two guys come into their house and say they're gonna kill them off one by one or something like that.
it was set in a suburban town as well.

I know... Seriously, I went to go watch Shutter at the theatre and the lines came up on previews and I was so shaken..
But i'm reallly excited for this... Imma go watch it with my bf....

I remember seeing the trailer....pretty freaky IMO.

funny games was a horrible movie in my opinion.

anyways i saw the previews for this for the ruins.
i got nightmares just from the previews.

Heh, the guy in the middle has a mask that kind of reminds me of the sandman in Batman haha
This movie looks interesting, but I doubt I'd go watch it lol I love checking out horror movies but having to actually WATCH it is something that I don't do too often lol

i most likely will end up watching this when it comes to dvd.
i see it's based on true events..kinda freaky. makes me want to watch it some more but not worth my 10 bucks to watch.

I this preview when I watched The Ruins. I actually want to see this. My cousin was shouting Jabbawockeez when he saw the people with the masks on. Haha!

When I was watching Shutter, The Strangers preview came on before the movie started and scared the crap outta me more than Shutter did. -____-

It looks pretty scary, or at least, suspensful.
I remember when i first saw the commercial in the theatres, and it left me like this: O^O

But now that i see the commercials more and more, the less i feel about it. It'll probably end up just like any other american horror movie =_=

The masks.. are pretty creepy to look at. I hope it turns out better than most thrillers.

I heard the couple die in the end.. lols That the three masked murderers tied the couple onto a chair and they take turns stabbing them o.o'

a movie definitely not for the faint-hearted like me!

Saw this film. It was only okay - it had a few jumpy moments. But it might be pretty blah for most horror-gore enthusiast. It's more along the suspenseful lines of "When A Stranger Calls" or "Vacancy" than say a "Hostel" or "Saw".
With that said, it isn't scary in the conventional sense. It was just suspensefully tense and creepy in that it had that realistic feel where it could happen anywhere in middle America - and it also had that macabre and disturbing end to the story.
Once you leave the theater, the movie won't leave you with any lasting effects - unless you're one of those people that happen to live in isolated homes in large, wooded properties where your nearest neighbor is probably a half mile away.

Not sure this is the movie to watch her in if you're going by that criteria.

There's really not that much "acting" if you ask me. Just a bunch of standing around and looking creepy and menacing LOL.

i just watch it today. just to tell you guys.. BAD MOVIE!! I REPEAT BAD MOVIE!! the ending was weak. i literally went wtf??? after i watch the movie. -__-

Man, this movie sucked. I'm so mad at it. I liked some of the effects but overall, the plot sucked. Don't freaking waste your money on this bull.

Okay, my cousin was like this movie is madd goood.I got scared like 500 times! I was like really I wanna watch and then I went to watch with him and my family today & I thought it was OKAY. lol I thought he exagerated cause its nothing scary just like those shook moments lol btw I thought it was kinda funny too cause you know the masks, the main girl's omg face LOL our theatre was pretty crowded so there was laughter haha

i went to this movie on Friday night, it was a last so but the whole room is packed.

I was freaking out while watching it but honestly this movie is not even worth "Borrowing" level. The plot sucked and i don't get the story (in a bad way)

Though i was screaming the most that night, i have to say that don't ever think of going to this movie. I wasted my money on this "c.r.a.p"

I should have stick with the cheesy movie that day"SATC" LOL
