BoojaeWifey: I know what you mean, the american entertainment is really different than the asian entertainment. I think if the boys were to debut here, they would have to produce songs like Purple Line, O Jung Ban Hap, and maybe Rising Sun in order to really succeed in the music industry because upbeat songs are really in right now? Not many people are too fond of ballads because it's too "calm/slow" for them and a lot of DBSK songs are ballads soo yeah >< Like when I told my friends about DBSK & they checked them out, a majority of them said they liked purple line & rising sun the best. Others said their more pop like songs like Summer Dream, Hi Ya Ya, Balloons. But like veeeery few (prob 1 or 2) of my friends said that Love in the ice was their favorite song. I mean the others said their voices are nice and all but like it was too "slow" for them. I mean DBSK's known for their voices, not their "catchy beats" or "fly dance moves" (LOL) and the thing is you can be really successful in the music industry and still sing like crap >< just as long as it's catchy. oooh and maybe you should post a picture or something just incase that is considered spam.

Hmm, I don't think it's hereditary, but Junsu playing too much games in his spare time, so that's why I think the problem led to Su's eye being blurred.

Hmm..it seems the majority of us feel the same way about the boys debuting in America??..
And props to you all that really just laid your opinion out there, i know for me it's kinda hard to just come out and say "No. They aren't ready." or "I really don't think they should debut here at all."
Cause when you say it like that..i dunno, i guess it kinda seems like you really don't feel the boys are good enough or something..like the problem isn't with the entertainment in America but the boys, their style, music, etc...just them themselves. But that's really not how you feel at all. I don't know, I just don't want some of you to get the wrong idea of why so many of us are in opposition to the whole thing..
The boyband craze died out here in the 90's and it's true American culture is something completely..
either you're with it or it has to go. And they certaintly aren't the ones that need to change. (i hate to say it..but i'm afraid of the criticism too..don't think i could handle it..)
Really, right now I just want the boys to rest..HB is coming up. Haha, they can conquer the world another day..and really, they've already rocked mine

Regarding DBSK coming to the US market, I am glad that it is not happening rite now maybe in a few years they will have a much better chance. By that time, they will probably look more manlier and a little tanner. The culture here is completely different from Asian countries. In Asian countries, their looks are a plus but here in the US, the looks will be a minus. US still has boybands but their looks are just not in. They have the talent and the skills to be big in US but it's gonna take time for Americans to get used to the way they look.

I think the boys will be going back to Japan. Then to China on the 31st
And they will be going back to Korea next month for their Dream Concert, and Super Triple Concert.

agreed. my favourite hairstyles for all the boys are natural and unstyled, bedhead sorta looks, if you will. and i think my favourite pictures of su have him looking like a little boy, no matter what he's doing, lol.
re: debut in the states.

i've said this before somewhere so i'm repeating myself, but what the boys do is not what the general american public is used to. as much as i think that the boys deserve much more than to be called a "boyband", at the end of the day, that is their image. and no matter how much their talent outweighs their image, it's that image that the public will see and the boys will be ridiculed for it. the states is nothing like asia. there's none of that common courtesy to keep your mouth shut, and the boys will be eaten by hollywood.
in order to fit in, they'll have to change. and, honestly, the reason i listen to asian music so much is 'cause the talent neutralizes the cheesy lyrics. i don't want the boys singing about women, sex, drugs, money, or fame, kthx. a million songs about cruisin' in a pimpin' car do not appeal to me at all.
lsm is smart and he's trying to plan this out carefully, but as a fan, as someone who respects and loves them terribly, i wouldn't be able to bear it. it's probably selfish of me, but i would rather have them never even try to dip their toes into the u.s. waters than have their spirits crushed and their hearts broken in the process.
