It's a competition where contestants will have to turn up on a TV programme if I'm not wrong. Or at least be a Singaporean, or residing in Singapore the very least. It's definitely impossible that the TV station will allow that. So let's not waste our efforts/space on the forum to talk about it. It seems to me that some fans think that it's funny to nominate DBSK. Their votes will eventually be nullified and taken off the site. So... -shrugs-

I just noticed.. (I won't bring this anywhere deeper I just want to say my opinion ) whenever the boys change their hairstyles, half of us go nuts and love the change and half of us hate it.. haha.. I just noticed that I always end up finding myself just watch the comments flow because I don't comment.. I don't know.. call me obsessed with them but I'm not... But I find it weird that I like their hairstyles no matter how they turn out.. haha I feel lame right now.. I don't know.. Please do not nominate the boys for the Most Kissable Guy's Competition!

Big and bold so no one misses this.

For non-singaporeans who do not know what this competition is about:

For now, it is basically an online poll, where you can nominate guys, YOURSELF OR YOUR FRIENDS, as the most kissable guy. They will then pick the most popular few and probably ask them to go on National TV, and the winner would be based on a public poll to win some prizes.

It is ILLEGAL. I repeat, I-L-L-E-G-A-L for anyone to nominate the boys because you need to use a Singaporean NRIC number to register for it. Unless you can somehow miraculously conjour up the non-existent Jaejoong, Yunho, Yoochun etc's Singapore NRIC number, DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO NOMINATE THEM.

I am seriously cheesed by this that there are actually immature ignoramuses that do stupid things like that, something illegal that may eventually implicate the boys. Imagine this, if the boys get really high votes, their pictures get shown on National television, confirmed as top few, then what are you going to do? What are the producers going to do? People, seriously, think through. If not for the producers', at least think about the boys.

I have already emailed mediacorp regarding this issue, so please, no one can control who is going to be nominated, and all I can do is report every single one non-Singaporean artiste being nominated that I see. Stop nominating this boys before this is getting out of hand. (I just saw suju's Leeteuk's nomination.)

Lastly, I cannot emphasize enough that it is illegal to "any old how" use someone else's NRIC number, nor is it legit that you make your own NRIC number up. This is very serious and people may take legal action.

P.S I hope this marks the end of the discussion about the Most Kissable Guy competition. Or maybe you guys could just discuss who is the most kissable guy in your opinion.. just not the show, please.

Anyways I just wanted to share, sorry if its out of topic but my friend and I got my sister to like DBSK! A while back she told me to put some music in her MP3, so of course I put DBSK in there. Shes heard of DBSK from us but she's never really taken the time to listen to their songs. So finally one day we were at her house, and I played my Ipod and she was like..OMGOSH I like that song, who sings it? So we're like DBSK!! Another song comes on and she asks the same thing...so finally she's like..OK i'm a DBSK fan because of their songs and voices!!

I was SOOO EXCITED when she said that because usually they'll make fun of us because of DBSK! But I was happy because she liked them for their music and voices and not their looks (she doesn't think their all that cute, which by the way I think she's NUTS, but i think her liking their music and voices means so much more).

My story...

Okay..My mummy likes DBSK too and she like yunho and micky...
I got her into Kpop after she saw my lappy wallpaper! ( my lap is always lying all around in the house! Introduced her to Golden bride and she went gaga over heechulShe was like who is this pretty boy!!! WHA!!! so pretty..Bring girls to shame ne!!!! Then i said you call this pretty ah, i showed her my wallpaper of Jaejoong!! She was like WHAx2!!! Then she said some silly things like, wonder what their mum's eat during their pregnancies, give birth to such pretty babies! Then she asked, who are those 5 guys, another blah balh boy band right? i kept quiet...

I was playing insa on my i tunes, my mom reading the papers behind me... She put down a paper and said, what a sad voice.. And my mum was really sad (well, she was quite emotional that days as her brother, my uncle passed away from a car accident..) Even though she didn't understand the lyrics, i am chinese btw, she actually feel the song...

Then i was watching FITB, she was like whao!!! These guys can really sing huh! And commented on Jae's breathing, he should improve and she really likes Junsu's voice..

I showed her happy together..We laughed till we cried!!! She just likes the randomness and dorkiness of the boys and how the way they do not care about their image..

I am really glad that i have a new topic to talk to with my mother..And she looks forward to their new video..eps variety shows..Imagine a mother, talking bout suju and dongbang with her daughter!! haha!! For all, don't be sad if your parents just can't accept the boys..It's hard to change perception..Maybe you are spnding too much time on them that's why your parents cannot accept it? Your mom is so adorable! I can't picture my mom getting all excited over DBSK, lol.
But yeah, your story reminded me of a few things that happened last week.

My brother knows who DBSK is, but he has no interest in them whatsoever. I constantly try to convince him to listen to their songs, but he always refuses 'cause he thinks they're "just a pretty face boy band." Anyway, we were riding in the car, and I popped in my data CD that consisted of like, all DBSK songs and "O" came on. I didn't think he was even listening but all of a sudden, he was like, "Hey, this is pretty good." and started asking me who they were and stuff. I was like, "That's DBSK. The 'boy band' who you refuse to listen to, remember?" and he just nodded, lol. After "O", I decided to let him listen to one of their ballads. (my brother's not a ballad type of guy) So I played "Love in the Ice" hoping he'd comment on how vocally talented they are, lol. Anyway, the song was halfway done, but he still didn't say anything so I figured he wasn't into it. Well, I was about to switch to a different song until he did like a 'stop' motion with his hand and was like, "Hey, leave it." and I had the biggest smile on my face thinking "dude, you soooo think they're awesome!" LOL. But yeah, I had to remind him that they were the same group who sang 'O' 'cause he thought they were two different groups. Anyway, after letting him listen to more of their songs, I was like, "So what do you think? They're good huh? They're not just another 'boy band' you know." and he was like, "No, they're still a pretty face boy band......... but I guess they're a talented pretty face boy band." LOL. I am certain he was impressed since he still has my CD! His excuse: "Well, you wanted me to give them a try so I am... with your CD" :[

Another time was when I was riding with my friend. She's more into Japanese music, so she doesn't know who DBSK is. Anyway, "Footsteps" was playing.. and she was like, "Oh my god! I wanna marry his voice!" (referring to Jaejoong) LOL. She started asking me all of these questions and was surprised when I told her that Jaejoong was actually in a group. Anyway, I let her listen to some of their other ballads and a cappellas and she was really, really impressed. Seriously, she was complimenting them nonstop. It made me so happy and so proud of the boys when she was saying all of these good things about them. Like you know, here's someone who has no idea who they are, she doesn't know how they look, how they're considered one of the top group right now, or how big their fan base is. She was totally unbiased and was basing her opinions solely on their voices. It was a really good feeling hearing her compliment them like that. It just shows that people need to look past their 'boy band' label, 'cause the boys have SO much to offer.. people just need to give them a chance.

But yeah, it's moments like these that make me think. "Wow, the boys are really amazing." AND sorry for the long post, everyone, lol. :x

Also, thanks to everyone who's been posting translations, pictures, fancams, and especially the random videos of the boys. I always enjoy watching them. :]

i was just watching the end of the FITB '07 tour when they sing "proud" and realized that yunho actually cried... i think i was too slow to notice that it wasn't just yoochun and junsu. japanese fans are SO much quieter, it's amazing.
