I think SM made the right choice by adding Zhoumi inside though. I initially thought that the existing Suju members were sufficient to tackle the Chinese market, but after seeing them talk, well…The exception being Han Geng, that is. But that would mean Han Geng is the only member that is capable of holding a normal Chinese conversation, since Henry, despite being a chinese, can’t speak in that language either. IMO it would make Suju-M very unbalanced in terms of communicating with the fans and media.

Besides, Zhoumi won the National MC award before getting recruited by SM. This will help Suju M lots when it comes to building their image since this aspect heavily relies on communication as well.

Zhoumi has really chiseled features! And Henry a cute jelly pop tart.

Totally agree.
Henry is so talented and his performance always gives the song a new "breath". It's OK to have a "Chinese singing" band like Super Junior M coz KPop needs to spread more but I just don't like the way SM put Henry and Zhou Mi in SJ-M. Zhou Mi and Henry are newbies but now they are under a "SUPER JUNIOR"(sub) name - that irritates me because WE ALL KNOW how meaningful the band name is. Talent is talent, SUPER JUNIOR is THE STORIES OF 13 PEOPLE who have experienced together many unforgettable moments. It is not fair, 13 people had to endure a strenous time just to make "SUPER JUNIOR" become a name go deep into our hearts but now 2 other peoples...(kinda) inherit it. You can say that it's is hard for them too to be in Super Junior M but obviously, it cannot be compared to our 13 boys'.

Just the name, ok? SM should change it to ease many fans' objections. Henry and Zhou Mi, poor boys, they are guiltless.
I HATE SM's greedy.

About the "U" mv, some dance steps are better but some are worse - but it's still good. Love their styles, it's cool

The Zhou Mi hate gets pretty tiring .____. I like him a little more each time someone bashes on him, so at this rate he's going to be my favorite member in this subgroup XD. I'm sure he's worked really, really hard as a trainee. I have a lot of respect for him, because he's actually really talented and probably undergoing a ton of scrutiny which isn't really his fault in the first place :/. Have people even considered that maybe he didn't want to be in SuJu-M in the first place? I really think people are judging him too quickly, because he's brand new. But I like him a lot and hope he does well. ZM fighting <3.

And as for him crying in an interview ... just think about what he must be going through .___. He's probably the most hated member in SuJu-M right now, so I could see how any question (even though it seems harmless) might set him off. Henry endured a lot of criticism when Don't Don was released but it looks like the furor over him has died down a little, whereas it is just starting for ZM, so it's very understandable. He's debuting in a very, very hostile environment and I don't blame him at all for being sensitive about it, especially since a debut should be a very happy time. The other groups you mentioned, DBSK and SuJu; they all debuted with a ton of fans supporting them. It's different. (Also, I have seen them crying over their hardships; do you want me to link you to some videos?)

But anyway ...

I love the songs that I heard too, especially 'At Least I Still Have You'! Does anyone know the order in which they sing in that song? I can't figure out who is singing in some parts ... >__<.

Totally agree with you..The more ppl talk -ish about him the more I like him because I feel bad for him. At this rate he will become my favorite as well. Funny thing it's not his fault. If anything blame LSM he's the one that created the subgroup. His the one that added ZhouMi & Henry in. Those two guys are just doing what they are being told by there boss.

And I think he is the most hated member of Suju-M because as you can see there's a lot of ppl giving positive remarks about Henry (though there are still some who aren't but whatever) because his been introduced to the public so he has dealt with the bashing from the "ELFs" of "Elves". ZhouMi is the new face that has to deal with it now. So of course his gonna cry when it happens. He knows how Korean fans are...I mean who doesn't know..so he has to deal with them & there "ONLY13" crap...So he has the right to cry.

Actually, Jumyuk also gave me a weird vibe. Its not really that I'm against him joining Super Junior M, but somehow something about him is just weird.

I think its the trying to attract attention vibe. Something about him just doesn't feel natural.

But I guess I can't blame him. I mean other than Han Geng, he's the only one else who knows how to speak Chinese, so I guess he has a lot to carry.
Maybe its also because he's been trained as a host? So he's kind of programmed to want to fill in empty gaps in conversation. HAHA

I think it's only to be expected for people to accept Henry much faster than ZM. Fans, whether they're pro or anti SJ M have known that Henry would be in it for a long time. We've seen Henry in tons of performances, not to mention his awesome cameo on Don't Don. I think he's gone through a lot more than ZM, basically getting booed every time he stepped on stage. The bashing of Henry is one of the things that has disappointed me the most from my side of the Only13 argument. Although I'm not advocating bashing ZM, I'm just glad Henry is getting a little less negative attention.

For me personally i've a soft spot for henry ever since his dontdon days. all those chantings and such. the way he handled it has always been admirable. I think many find it easier to accept him as he's been through quite a lot already. As for me i just upgrade him from soft spot to actively liking the kid. And how can i not like him when Geng is so affecionate towards him already. "Our Henry".

As for Zhoumi, it might still take time. for me he's not as immediately likable as Henry. i think i'm just gonna get used to him. Although I find it rather ironic that the chinese people are more accepting of Henry when ZM is the chinese national.

Well i don't know about his pre-debut days. i just heard some clips of him singing which I like but from what I see, I see a very confident guy that knows he can sing & dance & is trying to prove himself to ppl that he deserves to be part of the group.
Which to me is a plus. I like seeing someone confident. He doesn't need to prove to me anything. He deserves to be in the group. Plus other than Hankyung he is the next person that can speak Chinese fluently (yea I know his Chinese)...So he is needed to help the group.

I just think ppl need to put aside there pre-judgment on him because of the rumors & just give him a REAL chance. SJM just debuted so who knows he might just grow on alot of you guys.

LOL I'm starting to *love* this guy. I feel bad that he just can't do anything right for fans, like what marmar said about him crying vs. not crying. I'm sure that if he hadn't cried, people would say he's cold-hearted and ungrateful. F.T Island was criticized when they didn't cry in one of their Mutizen wins. I honestly don't know anything about his personality (and I'm curious as to why people think he has a bad personality ... what did he do before joining SM?), but I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt. He seems really friendly in interviews to me. And it's kind of obvious why he'd want to speak in them, since he speaks the language fluently. He's doing a pretty good job of holding back, if you ask me. And as for the confidence thing, I like it. I don't think he's being over-confident at all. People just think he is cause well, they don't like him. I'm sure he feels like he has a lot to prove because of sooooo many people doubting and criticizing him, but ... he's really talented and deserves to be in this group. Yunho in DBSK gets criticized a lot for his confidence (and apparently has the most anti's because of it), but I've never seen anything wrong with it. I might be a teeny bit biased since he's my favorite, but the confidence is a good thing to have. He's a very hard worker. And if you watch more of DBSK's videos, you would see that Yunho has a really, really cute personality under all that confidence. Who is to say Zhou Mi doesn't have a cute personality? We've hardly seen the guy in anything yet. Like I said, people are judging him way too quickly. He's working hard under a mountain of criticism and hostility and dammit, I just have to respect him for it.

I saw that clip of ZM singing a Wang Lee Hom song and anyone who covers Wang Lee Hom and does it WELL can't do anything wrong for me. Speaking of which, I almost died when I saw Ryeowook sing 'Kiss Goodbye' zomg. He's amazing <3. I'm really glad he's getting loads more attention these days. I always thought he was the most underrated in SuJu, despite being adorable and totally talented. He's talking a lot more in the interviews; I love it <3.

I found Donghae in that interview to be so insanely cute (and my god I love his outfit for the shoot/performance/etcetc... how the grey sleeves wrap around his thumb, random but I'm loving it~) and so many gorgeous pictures <33
I love how Hangeng was looking at the other boys, and helped Ryeowook when he started to flounder slightly. He's such a beautiful hyung to them <3 the tables have totally turned now >=] he gets to be the one understanding everything while they kind of... zone out

Anyway, I still see the bashing of the only13 grows even more by the days. It truly saddens me. Have you guys seen it? A lot of soompi only13 has a banner of Suju-M excluded Zhoumi and Henry. It almost made me cry thinking about how Henry and Zhoumi must feel. Not only Henry and Zhoumi suffer, but especially Hankyung will feel very sad because of this. He was so looking forward to perform in China.

Ok, I'll stop talking about that. So..I was watching the MV and I must say it's pretty good! Hankyung looks so handsome, especially when he looked for the first time in the mirror. Henry & Zhoumi are cute, they're doing pretty well. Donghae's rap got me awed! That guy is a rapping king. Seeing Kyuhyun getting better now make me happy.

But I had a question. Though I heard Henry doesn't speak Chinese very well..He must know something right? So his parents are from Hong Kong and Taiwan right? Does he speak Cantonese or Mandarin therefore? Does Zhoumi know Korean?

alright, i used to have that banner and it's just
that fans are scared that they will be added to
the actual SUPER JUNIOR which so many and
many many many people don't want. that's why
we exclude the new members, but it seems like
the possibility of them being put into suju isn't that
high, so a lot of people are getting over it and
only using it to support the idea of ONLY13

and no, henry grew up in canada, but he is chinese
he just doesn't know how to speak it that's all

please do backtrack through some pages and look
at the first page before asking questions

Don't like all 7 members, then don't post.
The "just ignore them" crap is not flying. If others want respect being Only13[most Only13 in this thread are reasonable], then they should be willing to give respect.

This thread is not about SM, It's not about the original Super Junior. It's about these 7 members of Super Junior - M.
This "I don't accept them" anti behavior needs to stop. Don't come to the thread if you dislike the people in this group. No one is forcing you to read this thread. Start your own thread and cry about SM in there.

I think we should just let time take its course. Hopefully the resentment towards Henry and Z will die down a bit. Some people don't always like new things or change but I have hope that fans will come to accept what's going on and hopefully welcome Henry and Z, maybe not as SUJU members but as members of SUJU-M. I think it's kind of hard to resist Henry's pinchable cheeks and violin skills and Z's amazing voice for long.

Anyway, I just feel bad for Hangeng because this is a dream come true for him but so many don't support it. In my opinion, what should matter the most is what the SUJU members feel about this and if they have no problem with it then we should support them because all of this directly affects them not the fans. To be honest, I feel the most for Henry and Z because for them it's like entering High School and you already have half the school saying they don't want you around and giving you harsh looks. No one should ever have to feel unwanted or disliked, it can be lonely and heartbreaking.
