Some news have been surfacing in Korea on LSM demanding SJ-M member Zhou Mi to work harder. It has been said Zhou Mi currently has yet to meet the performance standards and therefore now has a high chance of being replace.

SM officials who have been monitoring SJ-M expressed they feel Zhou Mi lacks some needed energy while on stage compared to the rest. If Zhou Mi does not reach that expected standards soon he will be replace by the end of July.

Hankyung's close friend, this Chinese designer living in Korea, 孝培 posted a message and said that he met Geng recently and they talked about anything under the sun, and that Geng said he was going back right after Dream Concert.

Since SM officials are judging Zhou Mi based on his performance on stage it very likely SJ-M will be returning to China for more activities before Super Show Thailand.

i dont have anything against zhoumi. he's really a pretty amazing singer. he really has the talent in singing. of course its not news that he has already performed in different contests before or participated in events but still, when sjm first debuted, he was the most 'stranger' in the group. but he has gradually made people notice him through his talents and skills. since he's also the secong hyung in the group, he gives more exposure to the dongsaengs during variety shows and even interviews. even if he's chinese speaking, he doesnt do the talking.
well i guess he just have to learn what sjm style is. he can adapt to it. and of course, he's in a group so they can learn from each other.

Aww Zhou Mi, don't get replaced! I don't think it will happen anyway, I seriously seriously doubt the rumours, they have no credibility at all, but it's still really sad. I feel for Zhou Mi, if I were him and I read about me being replaced (even if it's just a rumour) it must feel really horrible, it just goes to show how people think of me, and ZM has tried his very best, you can tell he's doing everything to make people like him and he even broke down when he was talking about how hard the criticism was, the poor guy's been through so much.

Rumours really suck when they turn out to be not true, because they really hurt the artist. Especially when they say that he's not been working hard I hope ZM doesn't get too affected by it.

Every Korean member in Super Junior (minus Kyuhyun, who didn't debut until 2006) has had Chinese lessons prior to their debut in November 2005. They had lessons for about a month, but then because they had to prepare for their debut, the lessons stopped. So each Super Junior member had some basic knowledge of Chinese, but probably because of the lack of use, they forgot most of it, lol. Only Siwon took a step further and traveled to Beijing to learn the language for about 6 months. The Korean members in SJ-M are learning it again, of course, so it will be more convenient for them to communicate in China.

i don't really care if it's a rumor. but that's just stupid! i mean.. they already realeased an album w/

zhoumi in it. i think that's wayy to harsh.. i'm am loving zhoumi and he has a very beatiful voice..

i don't know where'd they came up w/ such rumor but this is wayy getting outta hand!! first people dislike him and booing him!

Geng can speak chinese I know that... but heard that Henry speaks english and is not so fluent in Chinese or Korean.

Moreover, I often see Zhou Mi whispers to Kyu Hyun, I think he translated Chinese into Korean to Kyu Hyun everytime he did that, to make Kyu Hyun understand what's going on lol

That's not bashing, girlie. It's more like a form of critique. This is completely off-topic, I apologize to the rest of the forumers, but I'm pretty sure everyone (unless someone's a complete airhead) knows that every member in SJ has different levels and standards. It's not like they can't dance or sing, for they would not be debuted in a group then, but just that their skills are stronger/weaker in certain areas, and I do admit that I've noticed this in some members. Nobody can be perfect.

And lol, you and I should both know that a few of the members do get more attention over the others, reason the same as stated above. Kangin is hot, but Ryeowook is notably famous for his voice and vocal skills. People like listening to him (not that they dislike listening to the other members). Kyuhyun, for example. He has an amazing voice, his vocals are superb. Perhaps because he was added last, or because his looks are less favorable than the other members, he always gets the least cheers and fangirl squeals during performances. It's really mostly up to each fan and their perferences.

Personally I think Zhoumi is doing a good job? If we're talking about energy, Kyuhyun seem to lack it most. He's really quiet, doesn't seem to put that much energy into the dancing, but then again his health is kinda weak. Don't get me wrong, I'm an all-out Kyuhyun fan who's loved him ever since the existence of SJ was injected into my mind. I love his voice, his looks, and his actions, just about everything. But I'm trying to be honest here.
