To All Singaporeans,
GO AND OPEN YOUR NEWSPAPER (Straits Times: Lifestyle section) NOW! First thing you see is Hankyung! =D I was very shocked, and it made my day.
Since I am in a rush to go for my rehearsals, I will just briefly explain what the article says. It says something about Kpop venturing into the Chinese market. And they mentioned that Singapore sold 5000 copies of the SJM album! =)
Its actually Sunday Times. hehe
yup! what a pleasant surprise to see large print of HanGeng, and small prints of ZM & Henry.
hope someone can scan it soon.
let me add-on to smelly salmon post.
here's the review of their album.
How do K-pop acts sound singing in Mandarin.?
On the CD cover, the 7 boys in this Chinese-Korean band are near-undistinguishable.
On CD however, you can tell them apart.
By and large, the Chinese have better accents but thinner voices,
and the Koreans have richer timbres but worse accents.
oh well..we all know they've tried hard, don't they?
and here's what Warner Music (SG) Marketing Director says abt SJ-M.
"Artistes such as SJ-M sound much more polished in their delivery and pronunciation than their
counterparts in previous years."
this piece of news really brightens up our Sunday morning!
