its a company that makes headphones and earphones, pretty cool designs.
Do you guys have any experience with them?
I recently just bought a ink'd skullcandy earphone for 20 bucks.
Looks pretty sexy.

They do look hot

but I heard that they're more about looks than sound quality (especially the big headphones). So I guess it's style over substance, but I've never tried them so I can't judge how bad or good they sound.
Atmosphere.

My boyfriend really wants that headphone someday when he plays game especially.
They look expensive to me though o____O by the sound of the product hahaha!
But wow only $20 for ear phones? But I'm sure headphones are much expensive.
I never heard about them until my boyfriend told me about them last 3 weeks ago? ^__^

Yeap, heard of them. 2nd post is totally right, they're more for people who like that street/ghetto design rather than goods that actually sound good. Tried a few models from friends, it didn't sound all that good no matter the source of the music

the ink'd out is really good for a 20 dollar earphone.
sure my eshure earphones beat the crap out of it in terms of quality
but they also costed 100 bucks.
and the earpiece of Eshure earphones (the silicone) ended up rubbing out my ear skin, which ended up being all sore and crap. unpleasant.
the skull candy silicone pieces are VERRRRY SOFT.
feels like shoving two small pillows in your ears.
i think it was worth the 20 bucks.
now im just worrying that i might rip the cord out or break the earphone by accident
was thinking of giving it to my sister, but she always has a curse with electronics,
somehow ALL electronics she touches whether its mine or hers, ends up being in the washing machine
her cellphone, Mini disc player, etc,
that being said im sure she will wreak havoc on my skullcandy.

I had a pair of Skullcandy Hesh stereo headphones and the sound quality was awesome. It looked great too but the downside was that it was sort of fragile... I accidentally snapped it in half when I was trying to pull out the plastic extenders. I returned the headphones and got my money back but I wouldn't mind trying them out again. I'd say steer clear of the other Skullcandy headphones if you're looking for audio quality though.. I've read a lot of reviews complaining poor bass quality, etc from headphone models like the TI.

I have several pairs of skullcandies XD
one broke though but it was my fault for pulling and tugging on them too often D: it was 30 dollars also ahah. they were the white smokin buds.
I recently got a pair of ink'd ones on sale for like 8 dollars (awesome deal XDD) my friend got mad because she paid like 15 or something ha.
and I have the large headphones,

rasta one...i don't wear it out often, because they attract too much attention o__o;;;
good for watching movies and game playing at home, since the cord's super long. =)

i have skullcandy lowriders in blue. it looks great and all, and the sound quality is OKAY.
of course it won't be as good as models that run for $100+, so you get what you pay for.
if you're not an audiophile, skullcandys are great~ but they are known to be fragile, but what electronic isn't?

The earbuds that came with my ipod broke, so when I went doorbusting with my parents, I grabbed a random set of earbuds (they were only 9$, retail $20 I believe.

) and they happened to be skullcandy. o-O They kept falling out of my ears the first few days, but I think my ears have grown around the buds themselves. I'm not sure about the sound quality, but it certainly beats the ones that came with my ipod. lol

I have red/white lowriders, I take good care of them since I've heard that they break easily- it's been about a year I think, they're in perfect condition! It's true that the quality is not the best, but it's definitely better than anything you'd find in a $7 bin.
And maybe it's just me, but violin parts always sound spectacular with these headphones XD I heard some beautiful violin from songs that I didn't even know had violins when listening with earphones.

I've only seen one pair of skull candy's IRL. A gay guy was wearing them on the bus.
I mention gay, not to be offensive. But because gay guys are usually more concerned with looks and fashion.
I'd rather have Quality over looks.

I got one of those skullcandy earphones (pink) and even though I fell in love with their design and the case, the sound quality is kinda bad. One good thing is that they have a volume control where you get to control how high or low you want to be.

May 3 2008, 06:44 AM
Skullcandys are cheap??
I went looking for them in Tandy's, but the only one I saw was this set of headphones that were $100+.
Anyone know where else I can get them in AUstralia?
(pref. the earphones rather than head, I'm assuming they would be much cheaper)

Skullcandy's in our area are ridiculously overpriced.
40$ for a pair of earbuds that dont even function very well.
the little rubber thing falls off all the time, and the sound
quality itself isn't even all that great.
Like an earliar post said, they're now more of a fashion
statement as opposed to a practical set of head phones.
I picked up a pair of sennheiser ear buds, which left
a relative hole in my wallet but > everything D:

Actually, I own a pair and they're much better then the ones shipped with my Samsung MP3. Whenever I use the stock pair for extended periods of time, the inside of my ear starts to itch, so that's why I switched over to skullcandy. got mine on boxing day for 20 bucks(off the 80-dollar pair)

I have green lowriders that cost me around 20 bucks.
They look nice and all but I regret buying them -.-" They're stowed away in my drawer atm. Ever since I've been using in-ear monitors I haven't turned back >< maybe I'm just not used to headphones..;;

I had some a while ago. They broke, that's when I said to myself never again. There are so many better brands out there. I currently use Shure and the only one I'd even think about trying is Senns. I hear they're pretty awesome. Bose headphones are ok, but don't justify the price.
I had those rumble ones.

Sorry to say this so flat out and frankly, but skullcandy sucks compared to "real headphones."
A pair of grado SR60's alone that are like 60-80 bucks would blow away any skullcandy headphone/earbuds. Not to mention all the other high-end phones out there.

I've been through at least 4 of these earphones within a 6 month period.. I like the style and look .. but I don't know if it's just me or what but it craps out like about a month later.. one side stops working or both of them do and I keep having to hit them for them in order to work..
