Yoon Band will play two dates in the UK. The first will take place on June 6th at the Peel in Kingston, London. The support acts have been confirmed as London-based punk band Steranko and LA based Korean electronica artist Tomikita. Tickets for this event are available now by phoning the venue and placing a credit card order. The number is 020 8546 3516 and tickets cost £7. Tickets will also be available on the door and will cost £10.

The second date will take place on June 8th at Trafalgar Square in London. Further details of this event are yet to be announced.

Thanks for the post. Although I'm not in London, I've been watching out for quite a while now hoping for a new album and possible US dates. Glad to know that someone on the ball is keeping us informed.

Apparently they have plans to return to America later in the year for some club dates. If I hear any more about it I'll be sure to post though

The Peel is quite a small venue so you get really close to the stage. and YDH crowd surfed - tho they dropped him O_O

ahh you were on Park Tae-Hee's side of the stage. He was really cool and signed my CD and was really surprised i was there for YB and not Steranko, the drummer Jin too. hehe

it was such an awesome gig - i was so keen for sunday to happen and go see them again ^^

aww pity - they pretty much did the same set minus the ballads. (i SO wanted to hear sarang 2 again)

it was worth the sunburn ^^ and it must have been amazing for them to see the whole of Trafalgar square enjoying their set ^^
my wish list of albums just gets longer and longer i swear.....

What did you think of Tomikita btw? I really liked them. I'd heard them beforehand but it was good to see them live.

Tomikita were excellent too, though I enjoyed them more at the Dano - I'm seriously considering adding their new korean album to my list of things to buy

I hadn't heard of them at all before excpet on the inside cover of the Yoon band's 7th they have a thank you, so i guess they are all good friends

Yoon Do Hyun need more people loving them in my opinion. Yoon Do Hyun speaks great english you know, and his voice... it was like he was born to be a rockstar!

Singer Yoon Do-hyun recently announced his intention to step down as the host of "Love Letter with Yoon Do-hyun," a popular live music and talk show on KBS 2TV, as well as his FM radio show "Yoon Do-hyun's Music Show."

Kim Young-jun, the president of Yoon's management agency, said Yoon decided to focus his career on his upcoming eighth album as well as a nationwide tour that is scheduled for the end of the year. Kim also said Yoon needs time off from both shows as he is planning to launch a U.S. tour starting in March next year. Under the decision, Yoon will take part in the final pre-recording of the TV show at the end of November.

Yoon, who has been hosting the popular TV show since April 2002, says he was sad to leave and thanked his fans for their constant love and support over the years. Meanwhile, singer Lee Seung-hwan has taken over Yoon's radio show since early October.

Sorry ah . I got the info from YB's myspace site, where there is a video of the band announcing what's coming down the pipe. I've been keeping an eye and nothing. Hopefully, this will change soon.

Yoon Do Hyun Band (YB) released their eighth album, Coexistence, at the end of March. They will be performing at V Hall, a club in the Hongdae neighbourhood, from April 14 to May 3. In a recent interview, Yoon laughed and confessed that every morning, people from his agency try to persuade him to cut his hair (picture below). However, he says that he likes it as is because people don’t recognize him in public.

~Y.B is amazing! If they're coming anywhere near you it's a must see! They perform on the "Kevin says yes" stage and the Y.B Merchandise tent sells a C.D of the songs he sings for the show as well as some Y.B t-shirts.
