Okai soo the titles tells it alll. So who here likes Simple Plan?? i love them soo much and i saw them on Much Music on the fourth and they were amazing, but i couldn't see them live since i wasn't old enough and they were also at the Much Music Store signing stuff for thier fans. Are they nice or what??My friends think they suck but i dont care i love them anyways!!! Soo back to the topic who likes them??

They were at Much Music? Darn...I didn`t know that. I should watch t.v more. They recently had a concert here(toronto) but I missed it. I didn`t buy the ticket early enough and plus schools been kicking me to the curve.

I like them. "Still Not Getting Any" is a good album. I was obsessed with Everytime last summer.

I don't like everything by them though. I actually only like their 2nd album.

I guess there are many interpretations of punk and i don't think Simple Plan is punk - like Steph* said, more pop/rock...however, they're teetering upon pop

I'll prob get flamed for this - but it's my opinion - feel free to differ.

i always thought of them more like pop/rock....

but i've liked them since i've first saw/heard them...for me i haven't grown out of them

I think Simple plan is one of the worst alternative/rock (watever you want to call them) bands out there at the moment. I cannot take the lead vocalist singing. It's like hearing someone whin.

AHA, at first I didn't like them because I couldn't stand Pierre's voice at first because it was so damn whiny.-__- But I don't care about it anymore because their lyrics mean much more to me now (i.e. 'Welcome to My Life' and 'Shut Up'). Plus, I was so obsessed with David and Seb last year.^^;;

They're still around. Rage is good.

And I've heard of Simple Plan, but I've never listened to their music because I get the feeling that it will be the typical type of music that will get teenagers all giddy and happy.

Their songs get you addicted only for awhile but when you grow up and reflect,i think you'll be wondering,"What was wrong with me?!"Honestly,I think that'll happen to me in future years.I'm not complaining.I do like their songs which are only a few but I don't consider them as my favourite band.I just listen for fun and I don't really like their lyrics but they're nice to sing to because they're so easy to remember.

their lyrics are the worst . people think the band can really relate to them , and that someone finally "understands" , but i mean , it's not like they're really very poetic or deep or anything if you listen properly . if people got out a bit and looked around , they'd find lyrics a thousand times more meaningful , that you could REALLY relate to , instead of these "why did this happen to me , i wish i was perfect but i'll always be tainted , why does everyone hate me , ohh cut myself" lyrics that these fools talk about .

my fandom started to drift away since Still Not Getting Any... album =___= i thought it was too poppy and didn't really enjoy the songs. I was VERY disappointed because i preordered the album and costed me a good $35 then the songs turned out to be not as good as No Pads No Helmets Just balls.
